Hi all, I just spent a very enjoyable 10 mins laughing my head off at the aircraft section of your image database. If you really want this subject to be taken seriously you have to start showing people some real evidence.
Photos like "Compare: One with, one without" are a ridiculous basis for an argument. The obvious difference in the aircraft altitude accounts for the lack of a contrail from the lower a/c, you'd have to some kind of idiot not to realise that a/c do not contrail at that kind of level. The same can be said for "Culprit taking a supper break" HE'S AT A MUCH LOWER LEVEL, how hard can this be!!
"30000? NOT": Why not? How good a judge of a/c altitude are you, this guy could easily be in the medium to high twenties, possible 30 odd.
But, and this is the showstopper: "IBERIA CHEMPLANE". You actually expect to be taken seriously when you accuse a company such as Iberian airlines (not just a cargo carrier) of ordering their 747's to spray chemicals over the USA.
I could do this for every picture, but i'm bored now!
I have some fantastic photos of aircraft flying in formation at high level, each one leaving a contrail behind. They were taken from my seat in the number 4 aircraft. I dread to think what you guys would think if you saw them.
Please, stop wasting your camera film on such shots, they just make you look like a bunch of nuts.
Yours (hiding under the desk)

Compare: One with Trail, One Without - The comment already points out that "These two planes are obviously at different heights"...yes, it doesn't prove anything, but it's still interesting...
30,000'? NOT!!! - Interesting thing about this shot is that there is little chance for contrails in the forecast for the area.
The Culprit, Maybe Breaking for Supper - Yep, definately a lower level...wonder what he had for dinner?
Iberia Chemplane - Again, very little chance of contrails based on soundings. Iberia Homepage
Hey, would love to see your fantastic photos sometime Falcon, and we promise not to label them Chemtrail shots. |

Photo 1: What's interesting about it?
Photo 2: I'm sure your figures are very impressive, but I also know that they can be interpreted in different ways. Last week in a Met briefing we were told that contrailing altitudes would be between 28 and 34,000 feet. It came as no surprise when we started to trail at 26,000 feet. The forecast is exactly that.....a forecast, it isn't always right.
Photo 3: Dinner?
Photo 4: Look at the photo, it's a 747 in the cruise contrailing, that's all it is.
I don't think I can trust you with my pictures. I'm sure Iberian Airways would be less than flattered by your ideas and I'm not willing to subject my employer to this kind of unfounded nonsense and speculation.
