RTW, You're right!! If IT didn't get DONE in the 60's, it may not get done now...changes should have been brought about way before this. I wish I knew what to do...what's two ole chicks like us gonna do anyway? (I'm older, anyway), when those sincere and conscientious folks that protested in Ohio worked their butts off...only about 50 of em at that...that's a darn poor commentary on where we all are today in this country...many of us care but what to do? Then there's the News Media pigs that bombard us with bias garbage at every turn...it's like having a million Mt. Everests that are made of crap and we have to climb them all and by then, our efforts will be "flushed" down the sea of despair. That freak John Stossel had his "Bias" show on tonite about us type of activists and made us all out to be crazy, uninformed radicals and that all the NEW Scientific crap happening today is so wonderful!! What an a** wipe! He stuck up for everything that you and I and people like us hate! He even seemed to sympathize with Cloned kids...now who is that gonna be for except the rich??? I can just see some dirt poor black couple or any poor couple for that matter go place an order for a perfect blonde, blue-eyed kid...like that's gonna happen if they aren't loaded to the teeth in money...what a world. That news show made me so angry...but there it is again, like you say, all that and a quarter will accomplish nothing....what can we do? I like the positive thoughts and visualization and all but wonder how much of our minds we still have left to control...look how many people were on aspartane for years and didn't realize what it was doing...I remember Hawaii in 1979 and Maui wowie and never would have believed a world like we have now was forming but there were signs, I suppose. ^j^ Joanne (Like Cheech and Chong used to say, "And all our dreams go up in smoke"). |
