ellyn, Thanx for the "heads-up" about the tv special about chemicals. I sure will be watching it as I am interested to know what all will be mentioned and if "damage control" and bologney will be thrown our way and what excuses and stories they all will have. If any of us had blood tests right now for "toxins", it would probably be creepy to learn how much junk is in our systems, to say nothing of what we might be getting from "chems" also. Just watched the report.
Simply monstrous they way the chemical companies worked together to hide the dangers that they were aware about since the 50's, and also to actively fight new regulations. Moyers had his blood tested. He had Dioxins, PCBs, and many more toxic chemicals in his body.
All for money.
Funny, they said chemicals had more rights than people. |

This was a harrowing program to watch despite that fact that much of it was "no surprise." The discussion following the program was very revealing as well. Moyers did a magnificent job with this and will probably receive a well-deserved award for his efforts. Go to:
