How to mess up a good thing

Excuse me people, but in case you haven’t noticed, the world is going to hell on a jet. Meanwhile, those of us who would like to engage in exchanges of opinions and information on this forum are being overrun by drowned out by a few with questionable agendas. (If the shoe fits…) We might be limited in what we can do about the state of things, but at least we can let off some steam and maybe make someone else aware of things they wouldn’t otherwise take notice of. Most of the people around us could care less what is going on as long as everything is okay in their little corner of the world. I agree we should be able to back up our statements with some factual information, but everyone should be able to indulge in speculation if they wish to. By the same token, we shouldn’t get upset when someone questions us or disagrees with us. That’s their right as well. There’s no reason to resort to name calling or ridicule. We are in danger of messing up a good thing here. Lighten up! This world is about to suffer the consequences of our sins of omission and commission so we had better concentrate on sticking together and figuring out how we are going to survive the mess we have made! |

There are some things that are going right with the world (I'm optimistic), but I think you've made some good points (as always), Scanner. |

Thanks for speaking up Scanner. I was tempted to start a similar thread this morning after all the unwelcomed intrusions and lunatic fringe that have plagued this board of late.
The core posters still seem solid and we've got some great interesting new people. Hopefully the mud wallowing will be kept to a minimum.
A suggestion for those prone to hot headedness....pop over to Freeform and the Something Fun thread! |

Didn't mean to sound quite so grim...I know God's still in control. I don't have a problem with the Creator, just some of the "created"...LOL |

On a positive note: "God will bring to ruin those ruining the earth" Revelation 11:18 I sure hope it's just around the bend. Sometimes I feel real bummed out about ct's, could say every darn time I hear or see them, could say just about every day !!! Also, my advice to all is not to waste your precious time and energy and angry emotions reading and responding to debunkers. I'm using my self control as to what I'd like to call them. Use your imagination, yup::: you got it. They are in the same catagory as those who orchestrate THE OPERATION. I appreciate the great work many of you put into your posting Thanks Jeanie
