I had lots of fun.
The DoD Center for Geosciences at the Cooperative Institute for Research in the Atmosphere (CIRA), Colorado State University, CO is sponsoring an ongoing field experiment called the Complex Layered Cloud Experiment (CLEX). The CLEX addresses a better physical understanding of the morphology of extensive layers of non-precipitating clouds in the middle and upper troposphere. [What kind of clouds does this sound like?]
Here's a picture:
Does anybody know what a "layered cloud product" might be? |

Welcome ICU812........You are right on. The universities are where most of the research on the ' nasties ' takes place. I think that everyone should attend the upcoming april 26 conference mentioned in the article, or if not attend, PROTEST it! We are not going to get things done just by reading and doing researching. Its time to activate BIG TIME. |
