A must read!!! Go look within for goodies.
While this post is for 2000 you will also see if you poke around this site that 2001 is scheduled for April. Pack your bags and go get an ear full. ENJOY !!

I had lots of fun.

The DoD Center for Geosciences at the Cooperative Institute for Research in the Atmosphere (CIRA), Colorado State University, CO is sponsoring an ongoing field experiment called the Complex Layered Cloud Experiment (CLEX). The CLEX addresses a better physical understanding of the morphology of extensive layers of non-precipitating clouds in the middle and upper troposphere. [What kind of clouds does this sound like?]

Here's a picture:

Does anybody know what a "layered cloud product" might be?

Nice find, notice how so many password requests pop up.Colorado State U / North Dakota / Texas A&M and so many more Universities offer loads of info about potential explainations. Here's what we're dealing with up north. Search "Alberta weather modification" for a complete research library. http://www.hail.csa.fvg.it/morgan/public_html/alberta.html http://www.atmosp.physics.utoronto.ca/people/list/GCVProfAct.htm
There is a lot of info in this little tv on our desks. Learning where to search appears to be the key. Weather mod. may be only one answer to low flyin' particle droppin' aircraft, but at least it's one answer. Dig through the universities hard. Search scientific communities like this http://afosr.sciencewise.com/ http://www.tnrcc.state.tx.us/index.html http://armuav.atmos.colostate.edu/uavs96/050396.html
and maybe we can keep growing like this http://www.popexpo.net/eMain.html

Welcome ICU812........You are right on. The universities are where most of the research on the ' nasties ' takes place. I think that everyone should attend the upcoming april 26 conference mentioned in the article, or if not attend, PROTEST it! We are not going to get things done just by reading and doing researching. Its time to activate BIG TIME.
