Bill Gates has put 24 billion dollars of his fortune towards his no-nonsense foundation to promote healthcare and education in the poorest parts of the world. With Bill's dad in charge, and the resources to really do something, the foundation is seeking to be a catalyst for jumpstarting self-sustaining and innovative programs, and holding recipients accountable for results. This is the largest foundation ever estabished in the history of mankind, has already saved and improved lives, and, I think, will make some dramatic improvments in the lives of our poorest brothers and sisters in the near future.

Good idea Thermit. I, (myself) will try to start looking for the 'silver lining' more often!

Here's something positive, Lulu--Molliani posted this link in the Science Forum because it has information on ship trails. But the site also has all sorts of beautiful nature photography. I thought it should be shared with the non-nerds among us in Freeform. Take a minute and just enjoy.

Here is a little link that was given to me a while ago to a site called Humans for Sale. Basically it's a site to determine what your worth. It's a fun little site.

OK, I have something a little more positive than the above post. For those of you who think that you cannot afford a digital camera. Polaroid has one that sells for around $50. It's called a Polaroid Digital 320. It is a small camera that takes BMP images and runs on a 9 volt battery. Average capacity for outdoor use is 23 images, however if you use it to Chemtrail pictures, you can take 30+ images with it.

Check with Polaroid on the web directly to see who has them in stock. If you have a CVS pharmacy in your neck of the woods, they should have them in stock also.

The only drawback is that the camera does not have a flash, but who really needs a flash when taking pictures of Chemtrails? The only basic requirement is that your computer needs to be a pentium with win 95/98, between 16 and 32 megs ram and a CD rom.

I have 2 of them and they are good little basic cameras. My only recommendation is that you name your images and save them to another file. If you have 2 drives, save them to the other drive for safe keeping.

BMP images are 225 KB that can easily be converted to JPG's.

...uplifting, or enlightening, or hopeful for the future of Humanity and the Earth...?

Sorry, I can't make any promises but
here are a few .....

Rules to remember

1. Never under any circumstances take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the
same night.

2. If you had to identify, in one word, the reason why the human race has
not achieved, and never will achieve, its full potential, that word would be

"meetings."

3. There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."

4. People who want to share their religious views with you almost never want
you to share yours.

5. And when God, who created the entire universe with all of its glories,
decides to deliver a message to humanity, he will not use, as his messenger,
a person on cable TV with a bad hairstyle.

6. You should not confuse your career with your life.

7. No matter what happens, somebody will find a way to take it too
seriously.

8. When trouble arises and things look bad, there is always one individual
who perceives a solution and is willing to take command. Very often, that
individual is crazy.

9. Nobody cares if you can't dance well. Just get up and dance.

10. Never lick a steak knife.

11. Take out the fortune before you eat the cookie.

12. The most powerful force in the universe is gossip.

13. You will never find anybody who can give you a clear and compelling
reason why we observe daylight savings time.

14. You should never say anything to a woman that even remotely suggests
that you think she's pregnant unless you can see an actual baby emerging
from her at that moment.

15. There comes a time when you should stop expecting other people to make a
big deal about your birthday. That time is age eleven.

16. The one thing that unites all human beings, regardless of age, gender,
religion, economic status or ethnic background, is that, deep down inside,
we all believe that we are above average drivers.

17. The main accomplishment of almost all organized protests is to annoy
people who are not in them.

18. A person who is nice to you, but rude to the waiter, is not a nice
person.

19. Your friends love you anyway.

And the thought for the day: never be afraid to try something new.

Once things get organized here, my environmental group will do a followup on an article that was in one of our previous newsletters concerning chemtrails in our next edition. Thanks to me, they have plenty of pictures for it. Thought you would all like to know.

Anyone interested in putting in their 2 cents
contact me at either email listed below.

Penumbra
I have come so close to violating
rule #14 .... in each case I would
have been way off base.
I've almost learned when to keep my
mouth shut .... have a ways to go
though.
Hope the rest of your day went well too.

#13... I have talked to everyone I know about Daylight Savings over the years and not once have I ever heard a clear and compelling reason to continue observing it. It's hard enough for me to keep up with the time without changing it every 6 months
