Get a clue bro....
The present money system creates power in the hands of the few in turn over the many which basically translates to exploitation for more power and profit. That is why this country is in deep trouble. It has to be reformed.
I don't want any part of the system if i can help it. Money is not my motivation. Iv'e been on both ends of the spectrum.
The fight is with those who are destroying this country, and turning it in a banana republic, totalitarian, militarized NEW WORLD ORDER. The corporate elite must be held accountable and cast out of society. For too long they have been controlling this country's sovereignty. Time for a wake-up call. If the government continues it's alliance with corporate power, there will be a civil war. Seattle was only the beginning.
Time to take this country back, hell, time to take THE WORLD back.
"-- I care what is happening because folks who are not sucking on the tit of America help America...when folks get off the tit and start making money for themsevles it liberates them...--"
OH...you mean folks like MICROSOFT? AOL TIME WARNER? BOEING? ADM? MONSANTO?
Yeah...its a shame that they suck so much taxpayer teet. They are robbing this country blind, and our LEADERS(sic) are letting them get away with it.
It's sooooeasy for them to manipulte you with planted stories in the press of "Welfare cheats"...while giant cororations get away with trillions in handouts and welfare. By world standards...the U.S. is the most miserly country in the industrialized world when it comes to social welfare...that is a fact. But I see Rush Limbaugh has you convinced otherwise.
You are either with THEM or you are with US.
Corporate power must be overthrown.

Mech and Seeker,
The "whole bird" has take on this. You're both right!!!!!!! The corporate machine and the poor have welfare from the middle class.
Seeker is right, many people will lay around high as soon as work. It is true to a certain degree that every person is in control of their destiny, with the exception of sick and crippled people. Some of the more cruel people would have them as filler for soy burgers. I have a diabetic for 45 years, since i was young. It took my will power to keep from getting really sick from this killer. I can't expect everyone to have my drive, so I don't mind that aspect of socialism, caring for the sick. What bothers me is giving welfare money to poor people that don't have my affliction, because they are too lazy to work.
Mech is right. We supply money to corporate welfare cheats. Defense contractors, oil companies, surveillance, and big tax cuts. I do know that the only jobs that are left are mostly service. Industrial and manufacturing are all but gone. I work for Intel Corporation. They lay off 1,000 workers here, then hire 1,000 new workers in India at 1/10 the wages. All the new engineers are Chinese or Indian. AMericans intelligence levels are going down, while foreigners are going up. Look at the high schools bands, almost all Oriental.
So, we middle class Americans are getting screwed by the left and the right, conservatives and liberals. We are paying for both ends of the spectrum.
Mech and Seeker, I wish we could light up a virtual bong between the three of us. Now, THAT would be a step in the correct direction. |

No way. 100% drug free.I won't let the drug war nazi's take my life away. I don't even drink. I have a fair-trade coffee addiction.I'm not middle class by the way. I'm poor, like most of the population. Not poor in spirit.
Who is more dangerous to public order...a crack addict or a WEALTH ADDICT?
I know for certain it aint the first.

Mech,
Good for you! That's probably why I said "virtual" bong. Do you consume organic coffee? If not, you should, since South America uses DDT on consumer coffee.
I ocacasionally toke because one of the side effects of cannibis is blood sugar lowering, good for Diabetes. Only when I travel to Arizona, Nevada, or California.
I know what you mean by the Nazi drug warriors. Hey Seeker, what's your take on the Drug War? |

I think I stated before gas, that mary jane should be legal (on the ballot in nevada tomorrow), time to stop the madness, and the phoney "drug war", the monies from it should be spent on education of children...
smart folks don't end up crack-heads...
didn't know that about the blood sugar...wow....have any good remedies for walking pneumonia ?
I've had this crap for 3 weeks and if not for my sheer *mean~ness* it would have won by now
mech, crack heads kill folks for their high...your own personal class war is yours...and a mythological one at that...IMHO...
but, I have had an interest in culture jammers...mainly why they do what they do...their purpose...what drives them...spent about a month over at this board, consider it a *gift*... http://pub68.ezboard.com/fkapitalizmkillsyoufrm1 after asking them many times what they would do when they got rid of the money hungry scourge they call "kapitalists"...they had no reply...no plan...no offering of somnething better...only the hope of some type of order forming out of chaos they create...they are just a bunch of angry un and over educated kids...with no answers only complaints..like you mech...
I do like helose though...a great mind on that woman !
that's about it...

I never had walking pneumonia, but a few of my friends did. One used the following with good results.
Coltsfoot
Sage
Echinacea
Golden Seal
Bee Pollen
Give up Milk for a little while (produces mucous which fuels pneumonia more)
Hot Soup - Hot pepper, ginger, garlic, chives, Parsley, soup base
Wheatgrass - If you can handle it
Culture jamming - besides my band Noble Gas, check out Negativland

Greetings all, from the hills of TN.
JD here, formerly at Carnicom's board, but it appears he has by default killed the forum through advertisements which crash the browser.
There is relevance in all the posts here, on both sides of the virtual fence dividing us.
The oldest trick in the game to keep the small band of low-lifes at the top of the pyramid in control is to create discord and 'fear' at all the lower levels.
It is a time tested method, and lest the underlings discover this principle, then there is no hope of ever breaking free of the shackles which uniformly bind us all.
If black people, hispanic, Native Americans (of course - they knew before any of us), white folks, and all the rest ever target the fascist government as being the REAL source of the misery and hardship they face daily, then there will no doubt be a paradigm shift.
If everyone would simply refuse to pay the IRS, it would start immediately. But, who among us will be the first?
An interesting piece I discovered this AM speaks volumes of just who the real criminals are: http://www.almartinraw.com/column78.html
Worth the read.
