Hey Emfx... the new look is fine with me.. it's actually a bit easier to navigate.. I've been meaning to make some comments to some of the topics over there... but my time is rather limited right now. In a couple of weeks it should get better. |

Nope, I haven't disappeared. Just moderating MOD with Emfx13, working on a major Chemtrail project called "The Dirty Dozen", my job, and Noble Gas.
Seeker,
There's a hemp thread over there, but you might find everything else a little "askew". Just be nice, that's all we ask.......... |

I liked the other colors...the dark red is extremely hard to see...being an artist...blues and greens appeal to me...and a black background is the only way...been meaning to discuss your mp3....

Yeah,
I actually like blue and green myself, although all colors have their place in the frequency scheme.
Did you mean "The Legend of Johnny Spray" mp3. We recorded that in three weeks, but it is a 2D recording. By that I mean, x, y, and simulated z plane. Left speaker, Right speaker, and reverb for the "quasi" Z plane. We will be remixing a real 3D version in the next 2 days, utilizing 2 speakers for now, but actually flying sound through all 3 planes with no simulation of the said Z plane. We use the Roland RSS-10, and every sound gets it's own 3D mix.

That's Missy Thetaloops from the Plains of Jersey City, singin' about Johnny, pard-in-ner!
Mech, Thanks again! You got a good pair of ears
Seeker, I also thank you, Did you hear the frequencies in the 48k range? No dolphins or bats hanging around, oh well they're there.

just heard the one from chem's opener...I do have a 4000k "hole" in my hearing largely due to my former line of work...but the added benefit is my wife talks at about that range so....

Seeker,
Can you put a parametric EQ on that missing 4k? Sorry to hear that. Weren't you a guitarist? Marshall stacks are rough! When I was playing with loud bands, always had ear plugs.
Try Gingko Biloba in large amounts, as it can restore some hearing loss. Also, if you can get it from overseas drug suppliers, Hydergine. It's side effect is neural re-growth, as well as hearing increase.

well yes...I have a parametric in the van...dangerous sound tool...the general public does not deserve one because all they do is burn speakers up with it...octave eq's are the s!@# though...
in my POS I have the sound set up in 3 layers 10,000 to 3.5k,400 to 80hz,80 to 40 hz...the first two the highs are crossed over @ 24db per octave at the respective levels...
the head, woofer and power is fosgate... roughly about 1500 watts...
everyone's eyes are glassing over at this point...so I'll say in my POS...the dark side of the moon's sound is sur-real...and loud...right around a couple of marshall stacks in intensity not to discriminate, so I might mention carver and peavy were decent plugin's too

I remember seeing Floyd at the Fillmore, and no sooner than 1 minute into their opener, AStronomy Domine, Roger Waters blew a stack of Hiwatt amps. Crew climbing all over, and in 15 minutes, back to the song. They were wicked amps, and I'm not sure they still make them.
Is that 1500 watt system in your van????? Man, my van has a 150 watt, and it's loud. My Chevy Cavalier has a 100 watt, and that pushes the glass out.
I still have a Soundcraftsmen EQ circa 1972, that still works. It's a very robust, and sensitive unit, 32 band. The 1969 Yamaha finally blew, so I got a 7.1 Onkyo, for my house that is.

naw not in the van...not enough "free space" for the dual voice coil 15'...it weighs about 50 pounds by itself...not to mention the box...I have a 89' cutlass (POS) for the big sound...the van has about 100 watts 0.0025% THD very clean...voice of the highway altec lansing series mid's and high's a small stillwater 10' bandpass and a rockford head...I roll in the van so it has the pre-amp EQ...
funny what you say about those old EQ's...they last forever almost...I have an old jensen jet sound that I use in the garage...
I've tried the biloba stuff before and it doesn't mix with reptilian chemistry very well...
actually I have mixed it raw (leaves) in on a salad one time and did not get great reviews...it was the scallions, spinach or the cilantro that made the mix between the salad and biloba bitter...
house italian could'nt calm it down either...
whew ! |

Hi all! I'm back after taking a short break. I just happened by this thread and couldn't help but reply to PHX's claim that he only wants "innocent" people know the truth and how everyone in this forum wants to steer them in the wrong direction. I thought of how funny it is that the only person from this forum that e-mailed me when I joined was PHX himself, to tell me how everyone here was wrong and he was the only one that was right. I didn't get any e-mails telling me how the gov't was slowly killing me and how chemtrails are indisputable. Nope, just the one's telling me that if I went along with the folks in this forum, I was as cooky as they are. Trying to inform innocent people my ass.
