ALL presidents suck, but let's be fair.
The Worst President?
Liberals claim President Bush shouldn't have started this war.
They complain about his prosecution of it. They point out that
Iraq didn't attack the U.S. and we shouldn't have gone to war
with them.
One liberal recently claimed Bush was the worst president in
U.S. history. Most of these claims come from liberals in the Democratic party.
Being an Independent I decided to take a look at history and see if using those
criteria who else could be called the "worst" president.
FDR ( a democrat) led us into World War II against Germany, Italy,
and Japan. Neither Germany or Italy ever attacked us: Japan did.
From 1941-1945, 450,000 lives were lost, an average of 112,500 per
year. That's 1 Democratic President, 4 years and 450,000 American lives
Harry Truman (a democrat) finished that war and started one in Korea,
North Korea never attacked us. From 1950-1953, 55,000 lives were lost, an
average of 18,333 per year. That's 1 Democratic President, 3 years, and 55,000
American lives.
John F. Kennedy (a democrat) started the Vietnam conflict in 1962.
Vietnam never attacked us. Lyndon B. Johnson (a democrat) turned Vietnam
into a quagmire. From 1965-1975, 58,000 lives were lost, an average of 5,800 per
year. Finally in the 1970's Richard Nixon (a republican) pulled us out of Vietnam.
That's 2 Democratic Presidents, 1 Republican President, 13 years, and
58,000 American lives.
Bill Clinton went to war in Bosnia WITHOUT UN or French consent,
Bosnia never attacked us. The Clinton administration was offered Osama bin
Laden's head on a platter three times by Sudan and did nothing. Osama has
attacked us on multiple occasions.
In the two years since terrorists attacked us, President Bush has
liberated two countries, crushed the Taliban, crippled al-Qaida, put nuclear
inspectors in Lybia, Iran and North Korea without firing a shot, and captured
Sadaam Hussein, who slaughtered 300,000 of his own people.
We lost about 600 soldiers, an average of 200 a year. Bush did all
this abroad while not allowing another terrorist attack at home.
That's 1 Republican President, 2 1/2 years, and about 600 American
lives.
Then the Democrats complained about how long the war on terror is
taking, but...
It took less time to take Iraq than it TOOK JANET RENO TO TAKE THE
BRANCH DAVIDIAN C0MPOUND! THAT WAS A 51 DAY OPERATION!
We've been looking for evidence of chemical weapons in Iraq for LESS
TIME THAN IT TOOK HILLARY CLINTON TO LOCATE THE ROSE LAW FIRM
RECORDS IN HER OWN OFFICE!
It took less time for the 3rd Infantry Division and the Marines to
destroy the Medina Republican Guard than it took TED KENNEDY TO CALL
THE POLICE AND GIVE HIMSELF UP AFTER HE HAD AN ACCIDENT WHILE DRUNK AND SANK HIS OLDSMOBILE IN THE CHAPPAQUIDIK RIVER KILLING THE YOUNG LADY WHO WAS HIS PASSENGER!
And Finally... IT TOOK LESS TIME FOR THE U.S. MILITARY TO TAKE IRAQ THAN IT DID TO COUNT THE VOTES IN FLORIDA IN 2000!!!!
But for some reason the Democrats didn't complain about how long any of that took!
Hmmm..... |

The probleem with most so-called "conservatives" is that they NEVER see corruption and deception coming from their own party...they are 100% willing to take a BLIND EYE...just because of "Party loyalty".
Rah...rah.."My team wins"...mentality.
Meanwhile they are shoving the knives deeper and deeper into the American peoples backs.
Bush is DEFINATELY NOT a conservative...he is a blue-blood, skull and bones membership having NEO-CON.
Bush's big government policies and open border policies make himself look like Bill Clinton ON CRACK.

Mech,You're being easy on monkeyboy. This guy and his father are the class of the Mid-East. Snub for Bush as Jordan king cancels visit
By Steven Weisman, in Washington
April 21, 2004
King Abdullah of Jordan has snubbed President George Bush by abruptly cancelling a visit to Washington scheduled for this week. Jordanian officials said the meeting had become impossible in the light of Mr Bush's recent support for Israel's territorial claims in the West Bank.
A statement from Jordan said the king, who was in California on Monday, went home rather than to Washington. It said the meeting with Mr Bush would wait until the conclusion of discussions with US Administration officials "to clarify the American position on the peace process and the final situation in the Palestinian territories, especially in light of the latest statements by officials in the American Administration".
A Jordanian official said this statement, in deliberately cool tones, was meant to send a message of displeasure.
For their part, White House officials said the visit had to be put off because of "developments in the region" and would be rescheduled for May.
Following a meeting with the Israeli Prime Minister, Ariel Sharon, last week, Mr Bush broke with US policy and supported Israel's ultimate retention of some settlements in the West Bank and also rejected the longtime Palestinian demand for the return of refugees to their homes, abandoned in 1948 in what is now Israel.
The Palestinian President, Yasser Arafat, on Monday rejected Israel's plan to quit the Gaza Strip, calling it a sham that would turn Gaza into "a big prison".
Palestinian leaders had initially given a cautious welcome to the Gaza withdrawal plan, despite suspicions that it was a ruse to strengthen Israel's hold on the West Bank.
But after studying the details - including Israel's intention to control Gaza's borders, air space and coastal waters - Mr Arafat and the Palestinian leadership said the plan was unacceptable.
"What is proposed is transforming Gaza Strip into a big prison and maintaining Israel's control [over it]," the Palestinian leadership said.
The Palestinian militant group Hamas said on Monday that it would stop attacking Israeli targets from Gaza if Mr Sharon carried out his proposed withdrawal from the strip. But it maintained its right to fight against Israeli occupation of the West Bank and retaliate for the assassination of its leaders.
Yesterday, Hamas rockets exploded in two Jewish settlements in the Gaza Strip and in southern Israel, causing minor damage but no injuries, Israeli military sources said.
Despite almost constant vows of revenge by mourners since the death of Hamas's leader in Gaza, Abdel-Aziz al-Rantissi, senior officials want to continue discussing with the Palestinian Authority how Hamas could take a political role when and if Israel evacuates 18 settlements in the strip and withdraws its troops.
On Monday, Mr Sharon won the support of the Foreign Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, for the unilateral Gaza Strip pullout, backing that will be crucial before the proposal goes to a vote of members of his Likud party.

Nobody is "liberated". Iraq is on the verge of civil war, the taliban is still killing US soldiers, The Opium business is back in full swing, the Sunnis and $#@#! have another Crusade to join forces against, American and Britsih soldiers are shooting civilians, and NEVER in the history of the US has such a draconian piece of garbage been enacted, The Patriot Act. I won't even get into the still controversial issue of WHO really was on those jets, and how did the FBI know who they were within 17 hours, even with no records or clear photos to identitfy.

Peltier was railroaded by shoddy evidence. I knew people in the 60's, who had cops raid their house, and they would throw bags of pot or coke behind a couch.
The Cointelpro FBI action was horrible. Setups, murders, informants, and garbage evidence. Just to keep Bulldogs (no offense to bulldogs) like Hoover safe from the "menace" of Dark Skinned people.

Fred Hampton and Mark Clark would testify to that,if they were still alive. They were murdered while they slept. They shouldn't have been trying to further the developement of their people. |

Do you ever read what you paste? I read enough of your garbage to know you hate Bush and just about everything good in America then you post this last one which talks highly of him.
President Bush: “As I look at President Bush, I think he will ultimately be judged as a man of extremely high character. A very thoughtful man, not having been appraised properly by those who would say he's not very smart. I find the contrary. I think he's very, very bright. And I suspect that he'll be judged as a man who led this country through a crease in history effectively. Probably we'll think of him in years to come as an American hero.”
Are you still with us ?Please leave a small message.

----edit to 'splain: I composed this while Mech was posting the above./
Still feel it is valid, expecially in light of reading Mech's explanation above, that JB was just another persona.-----
There are many forums at which I read, but no longer post.
Usually it's because members are shouting past each other instead of reading posts and drafting a reasoned response.
Sometimes it's because any post would be just more "casting pearls before swine".
Sometimes, it's because the forum is not what it pretends to be.
Examples would be the RNC fronts which claim to be "Democrats' Forums"
--edit to add:
"The best way to handle the opposition is to run it ourselves." VI Lenin ---
Others it's just disgust.
or, not even going online for extended periods because I just get tired of trying to put up with jerks:
EG: one moderator at "Japan Today" who attempts to post personal information about members.
I'd joined there, using the name of a guy who'd died in prison several years back.
When the moderator got frustrated over my reasoned replies to his/her rants praising our dear Dubya and spewing hate for all Liberals...
Poor long-dead Mr. Coley's personal information got posted, first at Japan Today, then elsewhere.
He might be rolling over in his grave, or, looking up through the flames and laughing maniacally in glee.
I decided that the Japan Today jerk would win if I quit.
The goal of the web of deceit internet professionals and their zealot team members, is to overwhelm anyone who posts truth, until only the Bushlies advocates remain.
Members here may recall a troika who tried to drive off everyone who failed to parrot the Bush propaganda.
(If you cannot dispute the message, kill the messenger)
This topic does begin with the RNC team leaders' most common task for new team members:
Write an editorial or compose a post in which you "restate in your own words why 'George W Bush is a great President'"
Try a search for: 'George W Bush is a great President' to read the same thoughts expressed by hundreds who followed the same script in composing their "state-in-your-own-words" contribution to the web-of-deceit.
It gets frustrating dealing with people who don't know they have been programmed to spout rhetoric like that.

OMG! I didn't know. Whoa - when I think of all the times I jumped in JetBlack's face whenever she would start attacking here. I am speechless. Doesn't The Professor still post here though??? Maybe not as much as he used to, but he's been kind of around. NO? |

As one former moderator did to people here, and also gave out the info to the Seeker/Maverick people.
As you see an April Fools joke, "George Bush is a Great President", is classic 60's humor. A "Theater of the Absurd" approach.
If you remember the line in Firesign Theater's, "Everything you know is wrong". It goes something like this, "See that dog sleeping by the fireplace? That's no ordinary dog, he's from the star Sirius". There will be people that will believe the most irrational statements, especially when it is coming from the state sponsored media.
"See that lying, brain-damaged, fundamentalist, and insane man over there. He's no ordinary p-resident, he's got God whispering in his left ear, and a Satan Filter© in his right ear".
I am amazed by the amount of Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors (Prozac, Paxil, Zoloft)commericals on TV. I don't watch much, but occasionally want to see what brainwashing they are up to. Is it any wonder, with poisoned food, toxic air, rotten media, and the destruction of the family unit, that we even have a 40% approval for Bushista?
