Yikes!! Looks like BobB's onto something there with the Alan Parson Project as far as Mason/Illuminati imagery etc.?
Seems like they're (APP) clued in... to something.
There's another one by APP called 'Children of the Moon', that seems to refer to the rejection of satanic (Golden Dawn) rituals. Another one of the secret societies related to sun worship.
Those other song lyrics, 'Some Other Time' you posted Penumbra sound a lot like Remote Viewing.

Also known as the "eye of Horus"There is a long story but the short of it is that this symbol came to represent the process of making whole, healing.
The eye of Horus became associated with the sun and the moon. The left eye is the moon, the right the sun.
How is it associated with the Illuminati? |

I'm not as sure about the Illuminati, Hooligan, but the 'eye of Horus' is important in Masonic symbolism as it's related to the ancient Egyptian and pre-Egyptian culture. Golden Dawn and other secret societies are involved in sun rituals, supposedly even the Catholic church ceremonies are based on a Roman sun worship, including holy communion, body and blood sacrifice, even the name of the day 'Sunday'? (I don't want to put down Catholics, I was raised as one myself, but I believe that some of it's ceremonies are ancient rituals that have lost their meaning to members over the years).
I would like to see more about the differences or connections between Masons and the Illuminati. I've wondered if they are different sides of the same coin? or more closely related in beliefs? |

This is turning out to be an interesting topic. I have noticed a lot of egyption symbology used by the Catholic church as well as by some of the secret societies. As far as I know, the priests of the old Egyptian religion, instead of becoming extinct, formed cults and secret societies and had their knowledge passed down from generation to generation. The pyramid, the Eye of Horus, etc. would seem to indicate that they are still with us. |

Music is well known for it's ability to pentrate the subconcious, without the concious ever being aware of it...the fact is, most people do not pay a lot of attention to lyrics playing on a radio in the background BUT THIER SUBCONCIOUS MINDS CAN AND DO IF THE LYRICS ARE REPEATED.It is my belief that Alan Parsons song was a threat, a warning, to anyone who would oppose thier agenda,and it was played repeatedly to ALMOST EVERY MEMBER OF WESTERN SOCIETY whether they realized it or not.

Here's what Lifeforces-A Contemporary Guide To the Cult and Occult (by Louis Stewart, 1980) has to say about the Illuminati:
"The Order of the Illuminati has continued through history as a secret order that exists within the ranks of other secret orders."
"Not all Masons are Illuminati. Not even all 33rd-degree Masons are Illuminati. But all Illuminati are 33rd-degree Masons."
These two quotes are from the Part I-0The Occult Bible, so it is from the occultists' perspective. This chapter suggests that the "Superhumans of Lemuria" founded the Order of the Illuminati. And that the Order "perpetuates the knowledge of the star system of Sirius".

Thanks for that info Penumbra. When you're dealing with secret societies, it's hard to know what's real and what isn't. I read somewhere that there are at least 2 ET groups, probably many more, but 2 that are in competition for earth/humanity? One, is from Sirius which apparently represented the bad guys (also heard these were lizard types, called Draconians?), and the other were like our predecessors or ancestors who are more interested in our well-being. Can't remember what they were called, maybe Pledians?
I'd like to think that there is good in Freemasonry considering it's impact on the orgins of the U.S./presidents/layout of Wash.DC/Cydonia, Mars. I've also read that the Illuminati may use their symbology in things like mass school shootings, Denver airport, etc.? and that this symbolgy is confused with Masonry, or maybe deliberately used by Illuminati to make Freemasons look bad? Or to show Freemasons that they have the stronger power?
I know that there've been deeper studies than I can relate, so it does take time to look at the whole thing. It makes sense to me that some of these societies do have access to suppressed knowledge, of science and history, and that they use it for their own purposes in some cases and for reasons unknown in others. In time, I think we'll find out more, but who knows when?
BobB, maybe it is a threat from Alan Parson Project? It's hard for me to tell when I read some of their other lyrics. |

And upon leveled walls they engraved the hieroglyphic characters.
Marcellinus contemporary, Iamblichus, wrote a treatise on the Mysteries of the Egyptians, and described the Initiation associated with the Sphinx. In a secret location between the paws of the feline monument, he said, is a bronze door, its opening triggered by a hidden spring. Beyond it, the neophytes went into a circular room. From this point on, they were subject to a series of trials to become full members among the Initiates, eventually reaching Masterhood.
