So the Whitehouse has denied having any information that could have prevented the attacks until today. Now that you have admitted knowing that bin Laden wanted to hi-jack airplanes your only defense is this: "The president did not receive information that bin Laden wanted to use airplanes for suicide bombers or use airplanes as missiles."
Hmmmmm.
So Ari, could you tell us again why President Bush stayed on an aircraft carrier at the G8 summit in Genoa last summer?

Does anyone at this board recall Putin warning Bush that they had information that bin Laden was planning on hijacking a plane and flying it into the building where all the world leaders were meeting? I have done an archive search and can't find the article
at the moment but I know that I have a hard copy of this story in storage.
Why can't they just tell the truth. A person can only be decieved so many times before they lose all faith in their leaders. Stop lieing to the people and the people will stop questioning your motives. |

I don't need your advice, but thanks anyway.
The link you provided didn't answer my questions which were all legitimate. We never imagined that an airplane would be used as a missile yet we had evidence that they had planned this just monthes before. Bin Laden was a known super terrorist who made remarks at his sons wedding that very soon America would be hit hard while he kept repeating "blood,blood,blood...destruction."
Russian newspapers reported that something would happen that would be as damaging to our economy as a nuclear blast. All of these things are major red flags even if it was pre 9/11 intelligence. Come on~stop wasting my time. |

hey bob if you want to run around postulating questions that have no basis in fact, then by all means carry on, they are quite amusing, if you would have read, or listened rice addressed why bush stayed on the carrier...and all the rest of you inferences...that is the one's that were not clouded in emotional thought...

T/S, I won't play this game with you. My time is to valuable to me. I'll even let you have the oppurtunity to have the last word and call my questions illegitimate and not based in fact. But don't expect me to get distracted enough to reply back.
The point I made was the Prez stayed on board specifically because terrorists were planning to fly a plane into him... Now they say they had a heads up that the same terrorists were planning to hijack a plane~ Add 2 and 2 together and you have to ask why there wasn't a little more security at the airports....
This is a quote from Rice in the article you claim I didn't read:
RICE: I don't think anybody could have predicted that these people would take an airplane and slam it into the World Trade Center, take another one and slam it into the Pentagon, that they would try to use an airplane as a missile, a hijacked airplane as a missile.

I agree with Bill O's assessment. He feels that the information should have been released in a low-key way, and that security should have been increased. I don't think they knew exactly what was going to happen, but they should have done a bit more with what they did know... |

hmmm...2 years before 9/11...that's clinton's watch...fact is they've known about ubl for a longtime and for 8 years noone did anything about him...trying to pin anything on bush is silly bob...

Let me see if I'm becoming a beter American via the 4TH ESTATE;
I believe, (because I've been told by them)
1. JFK was shot by a lone deranged commie gunman named Lee Harvey Oswald. Thank GOD for Jack Ruby. Period.
2. Marilyn Monroe filled her body (in an unusual place) with drugs and died as a result of self-inflicted overdose. Period.
3. Goerge Bush won the presidency fair and square. No cheating. Period.
4. Gary Condit had nothing to do with the disapearance of Chandra Levy. He said so. Period.
5. The skies above are not filled with CHEMTRAILS, only persistent, slowly disseminating, sunlight blocking, shadow creating normal aircraft engine exhaust condensation trails. If there was more to it, then surely the media would tell us all about it. Period.

There's so much more they've told me, I have to work on this list some other time. I do feel better now, knowing that the truth can be found as easily as picking up the daily paper and reading it. After all, the media wouldn't lie to the peolpe. That would be wrong. We buy their papers and that's how they make a buck ain't it?
