German ostriches may have mad cow disease
Ostriches are thought to be dying of mad cow disease in Germany.
The birds have developed BSE type symptoms after being fed animal bonemeal, which is blamed for causing the disease in cows.
German newspaper Die Zeit reports that the symptoms were seen in ostriches in various zoos.
The paper says Britain's Ministry of Agriculture has ordered research to be conducted into the possible transmission of BSE from cattle to birds.
Vets at a Hanover college who examined the brains of the affected animals reported that they found the same kind of holes in the ostrich brains as were found in BSE-infected cattle.
Other experts have dismissed any transmission of BSE to birds. No BSE cases have been reported from commercial ostrich farms - because their animals are slaughtered before they are old enough to develop the illness.
Ostriches in zoos can live for 20 years or so while those bred for their meat are killed when they reach about 15 months.

RTW, I know what ya mean! It rained here yesterday and today all my flowers are dead...they look like they have been burned or dehydrated or something. I wonder if all the junk so thick in our skies lingers and comes down on us via rain besides the usual way and if our natural water wells and other water sources are being compromised? Blessings to all, Joanne I feel sicker since the rain also.Got pics of low level Helicopter spraying dead on over property. will be at DS-4. |

We puke,we groan,we s**t,we die and now even the flowers can't pull through.Gross beyond imagination!! Yes we got buried yesterday and to top it all off there was a massive radar flash out of Dover AFB...Guess there may be a correlation between the two? No trails for nine days then trails en mass followed by radar??If they can't kill us spraying us with death they fry us too. My god this is so insane!!! Next time test your vomit...Lets get to the bottom of this dark chapter in Amerika..........RTW
DISREGARD THE RADAR:
