I'm not going to jump to conclusions just because FAUX news says Saddam has this or that.

I don't think he is a threat. In 1990 he might have been, but not anymore. Iraq shold be able to keep it's sovereignty just like the the US should keep hers.

Too bad you don't see who the REAL enemy is.

"The warheads were in excellent condition and were similar to ones imported by Iraq during the late 1980s. The team used portable X-ray equipment to conduct preliminary analysis of one of the warheads and collected samples for chemical testing."

There was no immediate comment from the Iraqi side.

Convinced that President Bush is serious about invading Iraq, Arab leaders hope to avoid war by orchestrating a coup in Baghdad. Well-placed sources have told TIME that Saudi Arabia is vigorously pursuing a concrete plan to encourage Iraqi generals to overthrow Saddam and his clique.

BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- U.N. weapons inspectors Thursday found a number of empty chemical warheads and another one that is still being evaluated, and the warheads are in "excellent condition," according to a U.N. spokesman.

Dimitri Perricos, the leader of the U.N. Monitoring, Verification and Inspection Commission (UNMOVIC) team in Baghdad, said the find is "not a smoking gun" that might indicate Iraq had violated U.N. resolutions.

--------------------------------

OMG!.....EMPTY shells!

NUKE '1M! NUKE '1M! Save the civilized world from the threat of empty warheads. There could be an empty warhead pointed at YOUR CHILD! Only godless pinkos have empty warheads! Who knows what could be put in an empty warhead. Mayonnaise! Old socks! "My Mother, The Car" reruns! HORRORS! HORRORS! HORRORS! (ahem) There's a war surplus place near here sells empty shells, warheads, emptied grenades, even shoulder launchers from missiles that the local military wannabes use to decorate their garages. I have an empty grenade stuck on a wall plaque with a numbered tag on the ring and a sign that reads, "Complaint Department, take a number". That doesn't mean these people who have these things are able or even want to use them against anyone else. They are empty. Nothing in them. Useless except as decorations or movie props. Ignoring the "we want war so bad we can't stop drooling" spin, what Blix seems to have found are some left-over empties from back when the US was selling chemical weapons to Iraq, and spin aside, empty warheads are NOT weapons, even with "My Mother The Car" reruns in them.

IMO, N. Korea is certainly more of a threat. But I say the sooner we pump all the oil out of the mid east the sooner they will become insignificant. Ie. no oil, no money, no political clout. All good things.

Because I don't want to make Haliburton or the Carlyle group any richer. They already have enough influence in government.

Not only that, why should a bunch of people who have next to nothing die just to make the likes of people like Bush, Cheney and Rockafeller ten times richer?

I have no doubt that Saddam is evil, but I don't think he is a threat. It's not worth it.
The costs are too high.

just one of the many reason's saddam needs to be taken down :

Examples of the international war crimes in Iraq

1. The crime of genocide committed against the Kurds in Kurdistan as well as other parts of the country. Also the forcible deportation of the Faily Kurds, who have become victims for their Shia belief.
2. Genocide against humanity such as using chemical weapons against the Kurds in 1988 and Shias in 1991.
3. Bombing the civil Kurdish villages, inhabitants of Najaf, Karbala, Basra, Simawah and Diwaniya as well as the villages in Iran.
4. Burying people alive. Hundreds of thousands of the Kurds in Iraqi Kurdistan and Shias in the south were buried alive. This is a war crime and does not fall by time. Moreover, the international criminal can not claim any political excuse for committing that crime and must not be granted any sort of asylum.
5. Executing prisoners of war and burying them alive is an international crime and the accuser must be prosecuted as a war criminal.
6. Torturing the prisoners of war and interrogating them by force is a war crime.
7. The crime of violation against women which was committed in Kurdistan and in Kuwait during the occupation.
8. 10 Millions of mines, which the Iraqi regime has implanted against people in Kurdistan.
