A quote on preemptive war PostMon Mar 03, 2003 10:27 pm  Reply with quote

"All of us have heard this term 'preventive war' since the earliest days of Hitler," he said. "I don't believe there is such a thing; and, frankly, I wouldn't even listen to anyone seriously that came in and talked about such a thing."

Dwight Eisenhower.....1953

Yes, as U.S. corporations were supplying Der Fuhrer, and Roosevelt knew the Japanese were coming to Pearl Harbor. Eisenhower was talking about how Hitler used the term "preventative war". He also warned us of "The military-industrial complex". No damn good leftist, liberal, un-american....wait a minute, he was a decorated general, conservative, and a republican.

Hussein is no Hitler. Bush comes closer to that.

Time will tell......

one more....the largest verifiable support of both sides in WWII was the debeers corp. which still hold the monopoly on diamonds...

really gas...protest the legislation not the man...bush did not want homeland security...and bush did not write the patriot act 1 or 2....

assigning proper blame is the honest thing to do....
