Lulu's profiling

Lulu, could you explain to me and the others on this board why a student chef feels the need to profile posters and what do you do with the information you gather? Where does this information reside, your computer, Thermits, a governments or all three? Be honest, fess up. |

There is nothing wrong with profiling,i personally like to know who people are,and i imagine when you moderate a board like this one would like to know a little about who visit's?I do it all the time,just something i like to do.I posted information about myself to save you "profiler's" the trouble,i am not afraid of my identity,in fact i'm quite proud of it!Beside's what do you have to hide,and what do you think think the internet is for?It is to get to know your fellow man/woman,but that was lost long ago when people started thinking they were secret agent's and hiding behind a screen name!LOL!!!Please lulu don't sell us out to the government.....LOL!!!! |

In my opinion, it is none of the mods business who I am, where I come from, what I do for a living, what town or state I'm in or any other personal information.
As long as I stay within the guidelines set up for the board that should be enough.
And what becomes of the information gathered, does it leave their computer or files, is it given to someone else? It is no ones business unless I give my permission for the information to be gathered, shared or used, and I have not done so.
For your information, I have nothing to hide, it's just no ones damn business.
You want your personal information gathered and used, that is your right, it is my right to say NO.
When I read and agreed to the rules of the board, I read NO WHERE that a moderator would be profiling each of us.
She's a moderator for criss sake, in another country! It is not her or anyones right to profile and use that information for who knows what.
Lulu is taking far too much upon herself on this board, she acts as though she owns the place, and she does not! Placing us in catagories, what a bunch of s!@# that is!

David as I look at the members list it quite clearly has a member profile listed. Hence it can be deduced that perhaps Thermit wishes to know who posts here? Profiling would elicit a sense of credibility in one's post. As far as Lulu being a student chef, we should applaud her efforts to reach beyond her own limits.

David you are sadly mistaken to think I would waste my time profiling you. The only "private" info, besides your IP (and even Mav has that eh poate) I know about you is that you reside in Northern CA, and that's only because you've told all the board members. Get a life David.
If I was going to profile you though, I'd put you in the POS category  of the paranoid variety...

Think for yourself Eddie--don't let anyone do it for you. If you feel uncomfortable here, there are other CT forums to post at.

It has nothing to do with seeker, its you and your high handed attitude.
I've not seen any other mod make the nasty comments about board members the way you do.
I asked you a simple question and you can't answer without calling names and being nasty. Again, typical for you lately lulu.
