The above post was edited by someone other than me, that was directed at Mech not FW.
I know what I write and to whom! what gives?
Nope the following quote is a lie.
Your question is asinine FW, the British government are not standing by the lie. Tony Blair is, he wants to save his job.
I've been keeping close tabs on this story.

I'd have a real big problem with the iraq war if those 300,000 mass graves didn't exist...if the torchure chambers were not discovered...if the children that were let out of prison were not happy to be free...
I think every stinking one of you commie luvin' imbiciles that opposed the iraq war owe the 24 million iraqi people an apology...

You are right that these reasons alone justified the war, but even if they didn't exist, the war would still be justified. Saddam still violated all those UN resolutions and was presenting an unacceptable threat to the world, whether that threat was empty or not. We couldn’t assume that he was bluffing.
He killed millions of people, and his sons were putting live people through shredding machines and skinning people alive for their own amusement. Saddam was developing nuclear weapons by many accounts and there was no question he presented a nuclear threat to the world, according to all available intelligence sources.
All these reasons were justifications for war, even if we hadn't found the mass graves (which were the sole justification for the war in Bosnia, btw, but were later proven not to exist). In Iraq, the mass graves really do exist....but you don't hear liberals whining about that now, do you? You don't hear liberals celebrating the release of all those children prisoners do you?…Those amoral, hypocrite bastards are simply using the war for their own political purposes. But even if the mass graves were not found. Even if there were no children prisoners...the war would still be justified 100 times over.
