The war on terrorism is a 'political smokescreen'

'US bent on world domination' http://www.itv.com/news/119348.html
9.45AM BST, 6 Sep 2003
Former Government minister Michael Meacher has claimed that the war on terrorism is a "political smokescreen" allowing the US to dominate the world and its oil supplies.
Mr Meacher, who was environment minister for six years until June, argued in a national newspaper that the US knew in advance of the September 11 attacks but did not act for strategic reasons.
It has since made "no serious attempt" to catch al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, he added.
His comments provoked a strong reaction from the US embassy in London. A spokesman said: "Mr Meacher's fantastic allegations - especially his assertion that the US government knowingly stood by while terrorists killed some 3,000 innocents in New York, Pennsylvania and Virginia - would be monstrous, and monstrously offensive, if they came from someone serious or credible."
Mr Meacher, MP for Oldham, claimed that "the truth may well be a great deal murkier", citing a document called Rebuilding America's Defences, written in September 2000 by neo-conservative think tank Project for the New American Century (PNAC), which was set up by a group including Dick Cheney (George Bush's vice president), Donald Rumsfeld (defence secretary), Paul Wolfowitz (deputy defence secretary) and Lewis Libby (Mr Cheney's chief of staff).
The PNAC plan "is a blueprint for US world domination" which "provides a much better explanation of what happened before, during and after 9/11 than the global war on terrorism thesis", he wrote.
"From this it seems that the so-called `war on terrorism' is being used largely as bogus cover for achieving wider US strategic geopolitical objectives."
He said the PNAC document stated that making the US "tomorrow's dominant force" would be a long process without "some catalysing event - like a new Pearl Harbour".
Mr Meacher listed a number of newspaper articles detailing intelligence the US was said to be in possession of which warned of the September 11 attacks before they happened.
He also questioned why no fighter planes were scrambled until after the third plane had crashed into the Pentagon, asking: "Was this inaction simply the result of key people disregarding, or being ignorant of, the evidence? Or could US security operations have been deliberately stood down on September 11?"
Mr Meacher concluded that the "overriding motivation for this political smokescreen is that the US and the UK are beginning to run out of secure hydrocarbon energy supplies".
By 2010, he said, Muslim countries will control as much as 60 per cent of the world's oil production and 95 per cent of its global export capacity.

Why yes I do remember September 11.
It makes me wanta' cry:
The American Dream by David Bahler
"We've got the American spirit.
We guard the American Dream;
Our country's built on the Rock of Liberty;
& we as people must keep it free!
It is for Liberty, the Pursuit of Happiness, Freedom & Liberty;
We guard our American Borders;
We guard the American Dream.
There comes a time in the course of Human Events;
when a threat must be answered with Courage and Strength.
Our forefathers earned the right to be Free;
And now is is our time to guard their dreams.
We guard our American borders
We guard the American Dream;
Our right to fight for democracy;
& keep our country Free.
We've got the American Spirit;
We guard the American Dream.
We guard our American borders;
We guard the American Dream
Movie: "We need a theme, a song, some visuals."

why 9/11's events have so many inexplicable anomalies:

Movie: 12 days until election. "How long have we got until it breaks?"

"You really want us to go to war?"
"Yeah."
Lapdog newsie: "Is the situation in any way connected to the Muslim Fundamentalists?"
"What do you think would hold it off?"
"We've got to have a war!"
Reality show: 9/11 deflected attention from release of the actual vote count.
For patriotic reasons the actual results were downplayed when the late release a month later was quietly published.
Movie: "They got to know at some point."
(JFK Beiruit/Grenada wag the Dog coverups discussed)

Mech, I agree with your statement here, the problem is that the sheeple do not believe the Nazis still exist. I am active in the Uk against the Nazis here and the problem is that they think it all went away after WWII. My point is that the socialists alliance and workers party call themNazis and in fact they should be consentrating on the term FASCISTS, this will aid the information flow and wake some people up.
The projection is that the NWO will have a completely fascistic world within the next five years, it is happening all over Europe and they are growing very strong in the UK (18 councilors in the uk, polling approx 30% of the vote and running in the European elections in 2004) What I am trying to say is that the label that will have the most effect is Orwells big brother (the towers, the cameras, the immigration policies, the banning of vitamins, the fluoridation of everything etc) and the fascistic intents of this sick F$$$s.
This one world order is one where eugenics is the ego key that drives this hateful and souless machine.

STATEMENT OF PRINCIPLES
June 3, 1997
American foreign and defense policy is adrift. Conservatives have criticized the incoherent policies of the Clinton Administration. They have also resisted isolationist impulses from within their own ranks. But conservatives have not confidently advanced a strategic vision of America's role in the world. They have not set forth guiding principles for American foreign policy. They have allowed differences over tactics to obscure potential agreement on strategic objectives. And they have not fought for a defense budget that would maintain American security and advance American interests in the new century.
We aim to change this. We aim to make the case and rally support for American global leadership.
As the 20th century draws to a close, the United States stands as the world's preeminent power. Having led the West to victory in the Cold War, America faces an opportunity and a challenge: Does the United States have the vision to build upon the achievements of past decades? Does the United States have the resolve to shape a new century favorable to American principles and interests?
We are in danger of squandering the opportunity and failing the challenge. We are living off the capital -- both the military investments and the foreign policy achievements -- built up by past administrations. Cuts in foreign affairs and defense spending, inattention to the tools of statecraft, and inconstant leadership are making it increasingly difficult to sustain American influence around the world. And the promise of short-term commercial benefits threatens to override strategic considerations. As a consequence, we are jeopardizing the nation's ability to meet present threats and to deal with potentially greater challenges that lie ahead.
We seem to have forgotten the essential elements of the Reagan Administration's success: a military that is strong and ready to meet both present and future challenges; a foreign policy that boldly and purposefully promotes American principles abroad; and national leadership that accepts the United States' global responsibilities.
Of course, the United States must be prudent in how it exercises its power. But we cannot safely avoid the responsibilities of global leadership or the costs that are associated with its exercise. America has a vital role in maintaining peace and security in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. If we shirk our responsibilities, we invite challenges to our fundamental interests. The history of the 20th century should have taught us that it is important to shape circumstances before crises emerge, and to meet threats before they become dire. The history of this century should have taught us to embrace the cause of American leadership.
Our aim is to remind Americans of these lessons and to draw their consequences for today. Here are four consequences:
• we need to increase defense spending significantly if we are to carry out our global
responsibilities today and modernize our armed forces for the future;
• we need to strengthen our ties to democratic allies and to challenge regimes hostile to our interests and values;
• we need to promote the cause of political and economic freedom abroad;
• we need to accept responsibility for America's unique role in preserving and extending an international order friendly to our security, our prosperity, and our principles.
Such a Reaganite policy of military strength and moral clarity may not be fashionable today. But it is necessary if the United States is to build on the successes of this past century and to ensure our security and our greatness in the next.

Again....
PNAC = The new Nazi party.A bunch of Machavellian, Trotskyite, Leo Strauss followers.
And Eggs.... You are right..they USE "terror" to acheive their goals. Even their own manifesto stated they "need a pearl harbor event" to deploy their goals.
Just like Hitlers Reichtag fire.
Use a new enemy to acheive your wicked goals when the terrorism was fostered by the government in the first place.
Jut say NO to the NWO.
The War Against Terrorism.....
Abreviated T.W.A.T.
for all practical purposes.

In Memory of Wladyslaw Szpilman
Nazism was a form of government that restricted personal freedom but
permitted private ownership of property. It called for aggressive
nationalism, militarism and expansion of Germany's spheres of control
through military conquest. The Nazis glorified Germany and its people,
claiming that other nationalities were inferior. It promised to build a
harmonious, orderly and prosperous society for the Germans.
Instead it brought terrorism, war and mass murder.
The Nazi agenda was largely based on the premises of Adolph Hitler's book
Mein Kampf. In his book, Hitler stated his beliefs and ideas for Germany's
future, which included plans to overthrow regimes of countries he perceived
to be dangerous to Germany's security or had natural resources needed to
fulfill its destiny as the most powerful nation on earth.
Nazism did not gain wide support in Germany until the worldwide business
slump of 1929. Discontented Germans then turned to Nazism in increasing
numbers because it promised economic help, political power and national glory.
The Nazis' organization, discipline and financial backing from wealthy
industrialists, who feared Communism, soon made them a force with which to
contend. Many upper-class Germans feared loss of power and property would be
a result of the newly formed democratic government, which they suspected
might levy taxes in order to redistribute wealth. The farmers, middle and
laboring classes were attracted to the promise of social reform, which they
believed was badly needed after the excesses and moral lassitude of the
Roaring Twenties. Powerless people responded to their ideas of national
superiority and strength. The military supported Hitler's ideas of
discipline, order and increased funding through rearmament.
Hitler began to assemble some of the people who would help him rise to
power. They included:
Joseph Goebbels, the chief Nazi propagandist;
"We do not want a second catastrophe along the lines of (hidden date XXXX).
We depend not on the grace of our enemy, rather on military might."
"He knows that we are waging this war for a better peace, that we are
fighting for the happiness of people who have so often been oppressed by
their governments."
"No power in the world will make us deny our duty, or forget even for a
moment our historical task of maintaining the freedom of our people."
Hermann Goering, who became second in command to Hitler;
"Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the
country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag
the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a
parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can
always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have
to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for
lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger."
Heinrich Himmler, the leader of the SS;
"Unconditional and highest freedom of will," Himmler instructed his SS,
"comes from obedience, from service to our world view, obedience which is
prepared to render each and every sacrifice to pride, to external honor and
to all which is dear to us personally, obedience which never falters but
unconditionally follows every order which comes from the Führer or legally
from superiors..."
and Ernst Rohm, the chief of the SA;
"The people want wholesome dread. They want to fear something. They want
someone to frighten them and make them shudderingly submissive."
In the July, 1932 election for the Reichstag (parliament) the Nazis received
nearly 38% of the vote, making it the largest political party in Germany but
not the majority party. Leaders of the other parties offered Hitler Cabinet
posts in exchange for Nazi support but he refused to accept any arrangement
that did not make him chancellor (prime minister) of Germany The majority of
the people did not want Hitler to become chancellor and had serious
misgivings about him. But in June of 1933, President von Hindenburg was
persuaded by his friends to name Hitler chancellor. Hitler, in turn,
promised to act lawfully. He promised to restore the German economy; assure
education and work for all; and lead Germany to greatness.
On February 27, a fire began that destroyed the Reichstag building. Many
historians believe that it was planned by the Nazis. Although a full
investigation was never conducted, the Nazis quickly blamed the Communists.
A pro-Communist Dutch anarchist was found at the site and admitted that he
had set it.
President von Hindenburg then signed an emergency decree that gave the
government unprecedented power. The Nazis moved to control all police
authority in Germany, including the right to arrest and hold people without
formal charging on suspicion of treason, which served to erode German civil
rights.
Hitler promised to rid Germany of Communists and other "enemies", such as
the Jews, on whom he blamed Germany's troubles. "By defending myself against
the Jews, I am doing the Lord's work", he wrote.
On March 23, 1933, the Nazi-dominated Reichstag passed a law "for the
removal of distress from the people and the state". The law, known as the
Enabling Act, in effect suspended basic civil and human rights in Germany.
Hitler then began to destroy the Constitution through outwardly legal means.
By mid-July 1933, the Gestapo (secret state police) was hunting down enemies
and opponents of the government. People were jailed or shot on suspicion alone.
The Nazis used the press, radio and films to flood Germany with propaganda
praising the 'New Order', Hitler's term for his reordering of German society
and for his plans to reorder the rest of Europe. Germans citizens were kept
in a constant state of fear that their country might be attacked by its
enemies. Complete faith in the judgment of the Nazi leaders was the
measuring stick of devotion to one's country and national pride was the
noblest of virtues.
Initially, the rest of the world and the German intelligentia regarded
Hitler alternately as a bully or a buffoon. However, Hitler had the common
touch. His popularity within Germany grew, despite the flagging economy,
especially after the Reichstag fire. More and more, the German people
trusted in him implicitly to protect Germany and lead it to greatness.
The citizens of Germany were encouraged to turn to God and prayer for
comfort and strength during these troubling times.
"... a general moral instruction without a religious foundation is built on
air; consequently, all character training and religion must be derived from
faith. From our point of view as representatives of the state, we need
believing people. A dark cloud threatens from Poland. We have need of
soldiers, believing solders. Believing solders are the most valuable ones.
They give their all."
- Adolf Hitler, The German Churches Under Hitler: Background, Struggle, and
Epilogue by Ernst Helmreich, page 121.
Hitler also felt he had a personal relationship with God and saw God as his
aid in ruling the German Reich:
"Except the Lord built the house they labour in vain.... The truth of that
text was proved if one looks at the house of which the foundations were laid
in 1918 and which since then has been in building.... The world will not
help, the people must help itself. Its own strength is the source of life.
That strength the Almighty has given us to use; that in it and through it we
may wage the battle of our life.... The others in the past years have not
had the blessing of the Almighty -- of Him Who in the last resort, whatever
man may do, holds in His hands the final decision. Lord God, let us never
hesitate or play the coward, let us never forget the duty which we have
taken upon us.... We are all proud that through God's powerful aid we have
become once more true Germans."
-Adolf Hitler,March, 1933
The Nazis used racial profiling to target the Jews. Thousands were sent to
prison camps along with other political suspects. A network of spies kept
watch on the German people and maintained an atmosphere of terror. Judges
and courts continued to function but most of the judges either had been
appointed by Nazis or were subservient to them.
The regime applauded military training and armament. The German military
forces were to be supported without question as the defenders of Germany's
safety and greatness. Those who protested were accused of a lack of
patriotism. In 1933, Germany withdrew from the League of Nations because the
League would not change the arms limitations imposed upon Germany at the end
of World War I.
After 1933, Hitler prepared Germany for war with little or no opposition
from the members of the Reichstag. The Nazis' goal was to establish Germany
as the world's leading power. No nation acted to stop him so his plans
became ever bolder. First he invaded Austria, then in 1939, he invaded the
German-speaking areas of Czechoslovakia in disregard of the protestations of
other European countries. After each success, he planned a new take-over.
On September 1, 1939, Hitler stated that, "The Polish State has refused the
peaceful settlement of relations which I desired, and has appealed to arms.
Germans in Poland are persecuted with bloody terror and driven from their
houses. A series of violations of the frontier, intolerable to a great
Power, prove that Poland is no longer willing to respect the frontier of the
Reich. In order to put an end to this lunacy, I have no other choice than to
meet force with force from now on. The German Army will fight the battle for
the honour and the vital rights of reborn Germany with hard determination. I
expect that every soldier, mindful of the great traditions of eternal German
soldiery, will ever remain conscious that he is a representative of the
National-Socialist Greater Germany. Long live our people and our Reich!"
Without provocation, Germany then invaded Poland, a sovereign country that
could not defend itself and was no threat whatsoever to German national
security, overrunning it just a few weeks. Thousands upon thousands of
Polish soldiers were killed in the defense of their homeland. Millions of
Polish civilians also met their deaths as a result of the German invasion.
"It also gives us a very special, secret pleasure to see how unaware the
people around us are of what is really happening to them." -- Adolf Hitler

They DICTATE American government policy from behind closed doors and PISS on everything America and the U.S. flag stands for.
Those who do not remember the past...are condemed to repeat it.
If you study history, oligarchies and dictatorships all start out with "good intentions".
Remember what the road to hell is paved with.
Its being paved with UN takeovers.
Bosnia,Croatia, Afganistan, Iraq,....

WHAT !
mech they are a small political action committee....
read this, it is too long to post here...but here is a snippet...and some facts regarding some of THOSE that DO operate behind the scenes to bring this country down...
In 1994 alone, this effort received three major boosts, in the form of the Goals 2000 Educate America Act, the School-To-Work Opportunities Act (STW), and a bill known simply as HR6, a funding appropriations bill for most federal education programs. Bill Clinton signed all three. (More recently, of course, George W. Bush signed the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001, which we are led to believe superceded STW.) Taken together, these bills hand control over curricular content to federal educrats, resulting in the New Federal Curriculum: FedEd, for short. Quist identifies seven themes running through FedEd (p. 43, p. 100, pp. 131-32, etc.):
Undermining national sovereignty (moving us toward world government under the auspices of the United Nations).
Redefining natural rights (substituting for the American view a Marxist and internationalist view justifying massive redistribution of wealth).
Minimizing natural law (essentially by neglect).
Promoting environmentalism (emphasizing the global nature of environmental issues, including promoting the pagan pseudo-religion of Gaia, Mother Earth).
Requiring multiculturalism (including acceptance of homosexuality).
Restructuring government (toward the idea that we live in a "global village," defining citizenship in global terms).
Redefining education as job skills (preparing "human resources" for the global workforce).
He names names and organizations (p. 13). Some will be quite familiar; others have been operating behind the scenes for years:
The Clintons, obviously. ("It takes a village," remember?)
Marc Tucker, Director of the National Center for Education and the Economy, author of a certain letter addressed to Hillary Clinton you may read here.
Lauren Resnick, Co-director of the New Standards Project.
Charles Quigley, Director of the Center for Civic Education (CCE). (No relation to Carroll Quigley I know of.)
Margaret Stimmon Branson, Associate Director of the CCE.
Shirley McCune, a federal education researcher.

1) Some want the US to do whatever it please, wherever it pleases, to whomever it pleases. The UN is a temporary blockade to that.
2) Yeah distribution of wealth - from my pocket to defense contractors and oil companies, that's a REAL GOOD IDEA.
3) Natural Law - A Clarence Thomas cornerstone. Now there's a real Uncle Tom for you. Natural Law as defined by again "crazed religious fanatics"
4)Environmentalism - Left alone, Neo-Cons would cement over the planet. Christianity, Hinduism, and Judism are all rip-offs of Paganism, the first religion.
5)Multuculturalism - You mean there's more than Goat-Roper, Western ideas, and European Imperialism? Accept that gays are here to stay. Can't do a damn thing about it.
6)I am a citizen of the universe, as well as planet,and of the US.
7) NAFTA and GATT have taken care of job skills and education. Service related jobs are the last remnants left for the US. When the BIg Guns finally realize that service can be exported, that will be the end of this country as we know it.
Now let me get this straight.....Pagans and Gays are more dangerous than Crazed Fundamentalists (BushLaden Productions)? Worshipping a male sky god is better than a goddess?
Meanwhile Bush is draining our pocketbooks, Hillary Clinton wants to eliminate vitamins and herbs, and Joseph Biden wants to give Dumbya as much as he needs.
This is a bi-partisan hijacking of America. Plain and simple. Concentrating on people's personal beliefs is a smokescreen if you ask me.
Personally, I believe Jesus was a Pagan, and don't qoute me Bible talk to convince me different.

Before NAFTA there was something even worse!
Taxpayer monies paid American business to shut down and move production facilities overseas.
Taxpayers even funded moving expenses for management personnel who taught the new sub miminum wage workers to operate machinery shipped at taxpayer expense from the US.
We also subsidized executives travel expenses, pay, and housing costs.
It was the Caribean Basin Initiative.
which was ended by NAFTA.
As Churchill said about choosing to ally with Stalin to fight Hitler:
"It's like allying with the Devil to fight Satan."
Bad as NAFTA is, CBI was even worse!
>14 February 2002
"The United States and the Caribbean," by Colin Powell
Secretary of State says free trade will enhance region's prosperity...substantial gains made in the region through the Caribbean Basin Initiative (CBI). Nearly 20 years after its enactment, the CBI has helped raise living standards in many Caribbean and Central American countries while offering attractive prices to U.S. consumers through duty-free treatment of Caribbean Basin products...<
Count back "nearly 20 years" from 2002 and you get the Reagan/Bush administration who began paying Americans to shut down businesses and move to the Caribbean.
>The Bush administration's Third Border Initiative (TBI)...is...leveraging public/ private partnerships...<
Hello?
Government ownership and control of the means of production!
That's Socialism isn't it?

The goal being to shift production from developed nations (USA) to underdevloped nations (cheap labor) and at the same time bring down wages and benefits of american workers.
Only the election of 1992 slowed the destruction of the American economy.
which destruction resumed full throttle in Febuary of 2001, when Vodoo Economics was resumed.

RUBY RIDGE, WACO, OK City, 1993 WTC, 911, are all sideshows to distract our attention from the deliberate destruction of our economy.
To reduce Americans to serfs.
90% nimimum wage or unemployed and th eother 10% masters and rulers over the rest of US.
A return to the "Good old Days" of the Robber Barons living in palaces while workers barely survived.
That's why so many different nations wealthy cooperate to form the NWO.
They will all be the masters.
And their willing lackeys with uniforms and guns will be their guard dogs.
Getting bones thrown to them (better living conditions) and the more opression, the greater the guard dogs reward.
Capitalism can only thrive when most people own property and have a stake in the system.
Not when government actively supports a ruling elite who own almost everything.
The nazis never understood that.
Neo-cons don't understand that.

This reminds me of the Nuremburg trials.
Where all the Nazi murderers were in court claiming "We were just following orders".
I suppose the same could be said for the NEO-CONS..
"We are doing it to stop terrorism" |

Not a nun, but;
I grew up in a military industrial complex;
among former Luftwaffe, former Wermacht, former Kreigsmarine
and also
often visited the former Gauliter of East Prussia.
There were also a few SS (no such thing as former/
same as once a Marine always a Marine/ not to infer any connection between US Marines and Hitler's SS)
Two of whom I was in business with.
Most of them had authographed pictures of herr Hitler on the wall of their dens.
Most had medals. many Iron Crosses.
Several could quote their party numbers and most
talked (when drunk) about the good old days, when Germany almost ruled the world.
One grandfather (an oil executive) was OSS and spoke at times of selling oil to spain in exchange for German industrial tools.
When I wanted to know why fighter pilots are called "ace" I asked Adolph Galland. http://www.acepilots.com/german/galland.html
I believe I know what Nazis were and are.
Neo-cons are not conservatives.
They are unlike the former? Nazis I grew up among, only in that most cannot speak German.
I listen to Bush and other neo-con speeches and play recordings of Hitler at Munich.
It often sounded better in the origionsl 'conservative'.
Different day, different country, different language.
Same words, same ideas, same goals. (world domination)
BTW there were also
SS with tattos on their sides (blood group)
& Russian Jews who had escaped Stalin and European Jews with tattos on their arms;
And the children of both I went to school with.*
The difference between night and day.
Hate vs hope.
(Almost all my classmates' parents were either military or "defense workers")
Like a man recently asked Rush:
"All your principles are inline with Libertarians. Why do you support (the neo-cons)."
"Libertarians can't win."
Was Rush's pragmatic answer.
Nothing describes neo-cons better:
Pragmatism = willingness to abandon principles in order to win.
Nothing described nazis better;
willingness to abandon principles in order to win.
End justifies the means.
Or-
As Newt Gingrich said: "Rule or Ruin!"
(speaking of neo-cons' goals regarding America.
"Rule or Ruin!"
Or as Voodoo economics shows:
"Ruin in order to rule"
BTW
Remember Amerika's Reichstag Fire on September 11th.
