I go away for a few, come back and find that quite a bit has happened.
Seems that a new dicktator is in power, Mech.
Is Swampy next in line for a promotion?
How come these two can't directly debate a person without hijacking a thread for their own little fun time?
Swamp says they are just having fun, I say the the Majikman got the best of them. I don't think calling someone out for a debate in a public forum constitutes a threat. Seems like these two just might have something to hide........or are scared to death of peple finding out the truth.
So gents, are you scared of the deep pockets or what?
I'm gonna sit back and read while I recuperate from surgery. I want to get ALL my ducks in a row before I comment further on this continuing saga...................that is unless they feel "threatened" and I'm the next one banned.
By the way, Professor, sir you have my utmost respect
I also wanted to comment on the disbemberment of the "council of Neign"
Just elevate them all to "Moderators", that'll fix all the debunkers.......right

Just thought I'd chime in, here!
I read WMM posts and Mech's and Swamps and it seems to me that WMM began a personal kind of attack situation where it needn't be. His first attempt to debate, in fact centered on a personal situation again, even titled with mech's and swamp's names as if to talk to and about them was a legitimate thread! I don't blame them at all for not responding to the challenge, frankly. And I admire them for their humor! WMM's baiting was approached with the decorum of a thug with a knife in an alley! WMM could have reponded to threads, started threads on any topic, but he chose to inflame and use tactics that weren't repectful. Wolf Larson has always been our board example of a person able to debate and disagree with respect.
Disagreeing is at the heart of free debate and in fact, our government is run on the very fact of debate as well as our court systems presenting evidence with opposing sides.
Mech and swamp have never been afraid to debate anyone! But WMM's posts were beyond simple debate -- they were indeed verbal attacks and aggression and it's too bad. It wasn't his opinion or even opposing views that offended, it was his style. No one is obligated to debate with anyone, here!
I also think that Professor is female.
Starting this topic really doesn't fit in to the board's purpose either, so I hope mine is the last entry on this subject.
We need to be discussing topics of importance, rather than gossipping!

Female? why do you say that? well I'm not but you got my curiousity. As far as whitemagicman's post are concerened I don't think he wanted a debate (just my opinion) it was a wierd ride to say the least but when one wants a debate it usually will be one certain topic and not all over the board like there isn't any single train of thought going on. |

Reading WMM's posts gives the impression his train of thought was derailed sometime before Freshman English.

I don't think WMM really got the chance to get into a debate here before the boot was given.
Seems like the two that person wanted to debate went running with their tails between their legs.......then had that person removed with their "authority" |
