Boomer,

That was swamp gas, me, that is the mix.

Suggestions for waking people up:

Keep talking, keep writing, keep composing, keep going.....Eventually like a wake of a rock thrown in the water, if enough peoplke start throwing rocks, the waves reach the shore.

Sorry SG, I realize that was you, now! I keep my favorites on the side and can't see the icons to the left so I get confused as to who's writing! Nice heh? I'm clicking the damn bar away, now! Tired of glitching myself!

Well, I'll have you know, I sent the Kaminsky article with a plea for William Rivers Pitt of http:www.truthout.com to take a look at the evidence on 9/11. I offered to give him links with all the supporting data, so if one of you could just post the links in a row on a post, that would be great! I really related to him warmly, personally, and with great respect and told him I was worthy of credibility myself (blah blah) and hopefully he'll start reading and make a decision in time. If he's never looked at the subject with an investigative eye, he may not "take" to it, and then again, he might talk to someone and hear the right things and you never know what angels can do to promote a great cause! He may secretly read the sites, and think to himself, weigh the information and then suddenly break out with a piece! Most likely he'll have to consider his reputation and his own credibility in all of this before he takes a chance. But at least the seed has been planted, whether it will grow is up to him and the power of the message itself. Could some of you write him a letter also? More than one letter on a particular topic would surely influence him more than just one!
william.pitt@mail.truthout.org

Now, who else should I write to? Senators? Congress people? Other writers like Huffington and Ivins? Moore?

Isn't it time to disseminate this knowledge? Get it out? Should I write an article about it? Oh God, somehow I feel I am important to this information flow!

OK, I'll report my progress to you! Will you report to the board, too? SG? Mech? All?

This feels like we're moving forward beyond the debate phase into true and mind-changing action! YES! YES! Oh BAY BEE!

Peace!

CIA Conducted Air Crash Simulation on 9/11/01 (What are the chances?!?)
Posted by: electrostatic on Oct 01, 2003 - 08:22 PM

This on the same date as the NRO (having launched a new top-secret payload into space three days earlier) conducted its own simulation!!! Remember the movie Wargames? Well, I guess it WASN'T just a game this time. I wonder who was at the joystick that day. Warren Buffet was the billionaire that helped pioneer remotely controlled piloting (financially) and he just happened to be at USSTRATCOM (US Strategic Command) that day with an unknown number of CEO's from the WTC who, magically, had the day off.

On 9/11, CIA Was Running Simulation of a Plane Crashing into a Building

Associated Press picks up story first reported by The Memory Hole

>>> Here's another admission which destroys the government's lie that it couldn't possibly have foreseen the use of planes to ram buildings.

They will be holding a conference called "Homeland Security: America's Leadership Challenge" in Chicago on 6 Sept 2002. The star speaker is Rudolph Giuliani. One of the other speakers is CIA man John Fulton. Here is the crucial sentence from the promotional literature for the conference:

On the morning of September 11th 2001, Mr. Fulton and his team at the CIA were running a pre-planned simulation to explore the emergency response issues that would be created if a plane were to strike a building.

~

Fulton's entire passage from the promotional literature:

John Fulton - Intelligence Networking & Analysis

On the morning of September 11th 2001, Mr. Fulton and his team at the CIA were running a pre-planned simulation to explore the emergency response issues that would be created if a plane were to strike a building. Little did they know that the scenario would come true in a dramatic way that day. Information is the most powerful tool available in the homeland security effort. At the core of every initiative currently underway to protect our country and its citizens is the challenge of getting the right information to the right people at the right time. How can so much information from around the world be captured and processed in meaningful and timely ways? Mr. Fulton shares his insights into the intelligence community, and shares a vision of how today's information systems will be developed into even better counter-terrorism tools of tomorrow.

About John Fulton

John Fulton’s 25 years in the intelligence community has contributed to his recognition as an expert in risk & threat response analysis, scenario gaming, and strategic planning. He is on staff for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), currently serving as Chief of the Strategic War Gaming Division of the National Reconnaissance Office, and as a member of U.S. Joint Forces Command's Project Alpha - a prestigious "think tank" for advanced concepts related to such issues as homeland security. He formerly served as the mission director for our nation's satellite imagery program as well as replacing Army Astronaut Same Gemar as the Director of the National Security Space Master Plan for the U.S. Department of Defense and Intelligence Space Communities under the auspices of the Deputy UnderSecretary of Defense (Space).

His counter-terrorism and homeland security responsibilities include advising the Director Central Intelligence Staff for Homeland Security, the U.S. Marshall's Office, and collaboration with the National Security Council.

In the private sector Fulton has developed a number of patents related to positioning, "smart GPS " applications, communications, and audio/video technology. He oversees the development of public & personal safety applications of these capabilities through SafeSTAR projects, and contributes to the strategic planning and conceptual design of the SafeSTAR Homeland Security Command Center.

One week after The Memory Hole first reported this story (14 August 2002), it was picked up by the Associated Press in the following article:

Agency planned drill for plane crash last Sept. 11
Associated Press
August 22, 2002

WASHINGTON -- In what the government describes as a bizarre coincidence, one U.S. intelligence agency was planning an exercise last Sept. 11 in which an errant aircraft crashed into one of its buildings. But the cause wasn't terrorism -- it was to be a simulated accident.

Officials at the Chantilly, Va.-based National Reconnaissance Office had scheduled an exercise that morning in which a small corporate jet crashed into one of the four towers at the agency's headquarters building after experiencing a mechanical failure.

The agency is about four miles from the runways of Washington Dulles International Airport.

Agency chiefs came up with the scenario to test employees' ability to respond to a disaster, said spokesman Art Haubold. To simulate the damage from the plane, some stairwells and exits were to be closed off, forcing employees to find other ways to evacuate the building.

"It was just an incredible coincidence that this happened to involve an aircraft crashing into our facility," Haubold said. "As soon as the real world events began, we canceled the exercise."

Terrorism was to play no role in the exercise, which had been planned for several months, he said.

Adding to the coincidence, American Airlines Flight 77 -- the Boeing 767 that was hijacked and crashed into the Pentagon -- took off from Dulles at 8:10 a.m. on Sept. 11, 50 minutes before the exercise was to begin. It struck the Pentagon around 9:40 a.m., killing 64 aboard the plane and 125 on the ground.

The National Reconnaissance Office operates many of the nation's spy satellites. It draws its personnel from the military and the CIA.

After the Sept. 11 attacks, most of the 3,000 people who work at agency headquarters were sent home, save for some essential personnel, Haubold said.

An announcement for an upcoming homeland security conference in Chicago first noted the exercise.

In a promotion for speaker John Fulton, a CIA officer assigned as chief of NRO's strategic gaming division, the announcement says, "On the morning of September 11th 2001, Mr. Fulton and his team ... were running a pre-planned simulation to explore the emergency response issues that would be created if a plane were to strike a building. Little did they know that the scenario would come true in a dramatic way that day."

The conference is being run by the National Law Enforcement and Security Institute.

Exploiting 9/11

This week, the Bush campaign TV ads provoked the most intense outrage by families of 9-11 victims, firefighters and some of Bush 's most vocal political opponents ever.
It caused also an intense increase of new e-mail campaigns, voices in the media (the 9/11 famliy members appeared on almost 10 TV shows within 24 hours) and a press conference to say that the ads' use of video shot at the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001, is insulting to the memories of those who died, and provoked a demand that two of them should be withdrawn.

"Our message to all politicians is, 'Keep your hands off Ground Zero,' " said David Potorti, of Cary, N.C., a member of Peaceful Tomorrows, one of the families' organizations. His brother Jim, 52, died at the World Trade Center.

The 9/11 family groups also argued that the Bush administration has not fully cooperated with the commission investigating the "intelligence failures".

Here an extract out of a huge list of critical voices:

"The Advertisements are disgraceful,"
Harold A. Schaitberger, general president of the
International Association of Fire Fighters

"It's as sick as people who stole things out of the
place"
Fire fighter Tommy Fee of Queens Rescue Squad 270.

"I've been getting calls on this all day...I think
it's absolutely inappropriate to be using these images
for personal political gain...It makes me sick "
Colleen Kelly, New York area coordinator for Peaceful
Tomorrows, 9/11 Family Group

"Political propaganda...Three thousand people were
murdered on President Bush's watch"
Kristen Breitweiser, of Middletown Township, N.J.

"Families are enraged...[It's] distasteful that the
president is trying to use Sept. 11 as a springboard
for his re-election."
Bill Doyle of Annadale, Sept. 11 support group leader

"It's a slap in the face"
Monica Gabrielle, 9/11 Family Member, Skyscraper
Safety Watch

"My faith has been shaken to the core"
Patty Casazza, 9/11 Family Member

"Continuing attempt to politicize the 9/11 tragedy."
Representative Robert Matsui, a California Democrat

"Enough with the stonewalling. Enough with the foot
dragging. Enough with the election year politics."
Senator Robert Byrd

"To show the horror of 9/11 in the background, that's
just some advertising agency's attempt to grab people
by the throat."
Tom Roger, 9/11 Family Member

"Outrageous...He's trying to justify the war in Iraq
by saying it had something to do with 9/11"
Wright Salisbury of Lexington, Mass., 9/11 family
member

"Ads are risky...it could backfire and be seen as
exploitative"
Leonard Steinhorn, political communication at American
University in Washington, D.C.

"Relatives of those killed said they are also angry
about what they described as Bush's stonewalling of
the committee investigating the attacks"
Boston Globe

"We're not ready to move on and think about everything
wonderful that's happened since 9/11. I want to know
what happened on that day."
David Potorti of North Carolina, 9/11 family member

"I looked at it, and I was, ah, just sickened, just
sickened"
Durham resident Barbara Fyfe, 9/11 family member

"We say hands off Ground Zero"
David Potorti of Cary , 9/11 family member

"Exploitation of the images is opposed"
Opening Statement for a poll,
Familiesofseptember11.com

"I think it's disgusting..."a desecration of hallowed
ground...;ook at the way he is sandbagging the
commission"
Joan Molinaro of Eltingville, 9/11 family member

"Cheap shot....Bush is taking advantage of the pain
and suffering of the families."
Al Petrocelli of Huguenot, 9/11 family member

"Taking images, sensitive images, like those
firefighters carrying that coffin...That should be
hands-off."
Andrew Rice, 9/11 family member

About "comments that it's Democrats opposing the ads":
"A load of baloney...I will still vote for a good
Republican, but not for Bush.
To say this is Democrats doing this is another damn
lie."
Wright Salisbury of Boston, 9/11 family member

"I am a registered Republican and a WTC survivor, and
I am disgusted that Bush would stoop so low as to use
images of 9/11 for political gain.
It shows just what a lowlife he really is. First he
lied about his reasons for going into Iraq, then he
lied about his military service and now this."
John Rodriguez, Manhattan (NY POST Letters)

"I can't believe he would sink so low as to try to
instill fear in the American public.'
Don Slade, Hoboken, N.J. (NY POST Letters)

"It is entirely understandable that Bush's ads might
particularly inflame passions in New York City."
NY Daily News

"Any political candidate who attempts to piggyback
onto those emotions deserves to be shunned by the
electorate"
NY TIMES

"One president who will never be out-pandered by the
gratuitous exploitation of the red-white-and-blue"
Newsday (NY)

"They messed it up"
Local Republican official (NY Daily News)

"It's an early warning to Republicans that it's a risk
to be using 9/11 images. ... If there's a backlash
because of it, it does more to hurt than to help."
GOP congressional source (NY Daily News)

"They lied to us...They told us it wasn't that bad
down there. We lost 3,000 that day but thousands and
tens of thousands will be affected by the air
quality..."
Retired New York firefighter Tom Ryan

"It's quite repugnant that he's using that imagery for
the campaign, especially since he hasn't been very
forthcoming with the 9/11 commission"
Christine Huhn, 9/11 family member

"Gratuitous use of media."
Nikki Stern of Princeton, 9/11 family member

"The idea that President Bush would rally support
around his campaign by using our loved ones in a way
that is so shameful is hard for me to believe"
Rita Lasar, 9/11 family member

"I don't think anyone should be using the tragedy of
Sept. 11 in any way in a political campaign."
Janice Ashley, 9/11 family member

"It's mind-boggling to me that he can see this event
as a positive reflection on his administration"
Mary Fetchet of New Canaan, Conn., 9/11 family member
Fetchet also "criticized Bush's insistence on limiting
to one hour his testimony before the federally
mandated commission, which rejected the terms".
(Newsday)

"I am offended that he's using this type of thing for
his re-election campaign."
Antonia Fontana of Westbury, whose son, Brooklyn
firefighter David Fontana, 37, died in the trade
center.

"Using footage of the wreckage of the towers to
further someone's political career is 'tasteful'
really needs to be rejected outright, and I condemn
it"
Bob McIlvaine, 9/11 family member
