Chemtrails Blanket entire SF Bay Area

Walked outside this afternoon at about 2:30pm in Oakland and noticed the classic checkerboard pattern in the sky. Attached are a few photos I took. I saw a plane in the distance that was spewing a thick trail. I took a picture of it but the plane does not appear in the photo. I thought that was strange.
