A friend has the DVD of the STC database from the FAA. He is combing thru it for Aerosol mods, excluding low level crop spraying etc. He has to give it back on Friday and will let me know what, if anything, he finds. He is a pilot with 30 years time. He also thinks the trails are a normal event. As you can guess, he is fair-minded enough to do this.
