What? What the hell did you say to me? Show me where I resorted to personal attacks. One second you're decrying name-calling, the next you're calling people 'buttholes'. Nice.

Don't wait for the draft, 'Seeker'. Sign up now.

I believe in freedom of speech, but this putrid vile you are spewing is hate speech. If I wanted to listen to this kind of internet navel lint, I'd join an Arayan Nations message board.

chem right here below, you accuse me of being a racist, and a potenial murderer:

as opposed to making racist comments on internet message boards.
I've heard some pretty sweeping comments made in the last few days, but condemning all of Islam is irrational. What are you going to do, T/S? Run around Oklahoma City offing 'anything in a turban'?

and hey chem11 what would the major terrorist orgs be ? hmmm ?...I'm going to try not respond to your flag burning socialist propaganda anymore...thread after thread contray viewpoints to your own, your spewing it not me, I clearly stated my position, and if you don't like it well...that's tough...this is a polarized issue and if you stay off my ass I'll stay off yours...

atleast I don't go around threatening "lawsuits" like yourself....

btw, looks like participation is at a "high" right now...

good day

If you are referring to Chickie Deb's slander, you're damn right I would have sought a legal remedy.

Since I wasn' the victim, it's hardly fair to say that I was threatening anyone with legal action.

Two arrests already made in Seattle from people attacking 'anything in a turban'.

Ciao babe.

now your twisting my words, your such a toad....anything in a turban "over there" not over here....now seattle...yall from seattle tell unstable women on bridges to "jump bitch"...so I'd say it's your state that has the agression problem...and your comparison invalid...lol...

btw, your just like vec and don and all the rest that say they will sue....all talk...if your going to prove a defamation of character suit, first you would have to establish that you had character to begin with...the debunkers at deb's are considering publically to turn those who promote violence against the military over to the fbi...I wonder if they are not like vec, don and you....

we'll see...

Once again, it is not posible for me to sue anyone, t/s. I wan't accused of being a 'domestic terrorist'. So your continued nonsensensical ranting is innacurate.

I think Lo has proven she has character, btw.

And I'm beginning to see why you've been banned from multiple message boards. If anyone has anything in common with the NSAsucks' and Cydoniaquests of the world, I'm afraid it is you, based on that fact alone.

Sounds like you need to 'seek' a drink before you start going into withdrawls. Get yourself a bottle of Night Train or something. I'm buying!

I hate the idea of war...I think many people do...even overseas...any thinking, caring, loving human being should hate the idea and/or advent of war. I hate what happened to the people at the WTC too and I firmly believe we should do everything in our power to defend our citizens on our own shores and to make sure that such a horror never happens again to our fellow countrymen. We should have more protection for our own citizens.++++However, it looks as if a War with foriegn factions is going to occur...like a huge "Metal snow-ball" rolling down hill, it will be unstoppable by the common masses. I wish it were not so, because, it could lead to total annihalation if nuclear weapons are brought in to play...I wish we could all just "will it away" and nothing bad would happen...but that is like grandma used to say..."You can wish in one hand, and crap in the other"...it's still gonna happen. The puppet masters are running the show, not us. Unfortunately.++++I sometimes wonder though, can we ever change this leaning toward war...Humans seem to be an agressive, "war-like" species and have seemed to be ever since records of history have been kept...What is it all about anyway? What is it about us? About human nature? Look how we come to such intense disagreements just right here at this very board...My hope and prayer is that we would learn, and change, on a global scale, for it would have to be on a global scale or else events such as the WTC terror would keep happening no matter how good "our" intentions and resolve would be. You can go way back in history and still see agression, hate, war, barbarism, prejudice, religious wars,...there has been ample time to learn from the past and change and yet, we have not. Maybe, one last war will lead to a final "cleansing" and renewal for the human race but it is a sad and sorry state of affairs, if this is the only solution...very sad indeed. Bless us one and all! I wish for love and peace for us all...now, we wait! And hope and pray...Joanne ^j^ ^j^ ^j^

thank you 3T3L1
your quote brought tears of rememberance to my eyes just now
let no one forget the words from the man taken out

my dad who was a workaholoc in the worst way
stayed home for two weeks then
i folllow in his footsteps and catch the news when i can
but i need this weekend to think about the change that has happenned
let me pass on these from a friend http://www.lewrockwell.com/peirce/peirce44.html
and http://www.boston.com/news/daily/13/nh_faa.htm

quote:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Let the word go forth from this time and place, to friend and foe alike, that the torch has been passed to a new generation of Americans--born in this century, tempered by war, disciplined by a hard and bitter peace, proud of our ancient heritage--and unwilling to witness or permit the slow undoing of those human rights to which this nation has always been committed, and to which we are committed today at home and around the world.
Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe to assure the survival and the success of liberty.

In the long history of the world, only a few generations have been granted the role of defending freedom in its hour of maximum danger. I do not shrink from this responsibility--I welcome it. I do not believe that any of us would exchange places with any other people or any other generation. The energy, the faith, the devotion which we bring to this endeavor will light our country and all who serve it--and the glow from that fire can truly light the world.

And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you--ask what you can do for your country.

My fellow citizens of the world: ask not what America will do for you, but what together we can do for the freedom of man.

Finally, whether you are citizens of America or citizens of the world, ask of us here the same high standards of strength and sacrifice which we ask of you. With a good conscience our only sure reward, with history the final judge of our deeds, let us go forth to lead the land we love, asking His blessing and His help, but knowing that here on earth God's work must truly be our own.

IS THE WORLD'S FAVOURITE HATE FIGURE TO BLAME?

IS THE WORLD'S FAVOURITE HATE FIGURE TO BLAME?

By Robert Fisk

I can imagine how Osama bin Laden received the news of the atrocities in the United States. In all, I must have spent five hours listening to him in Sudan and then in the Afghan mountains, as he described the inevitable collapse of the US, just as he and his comrades in the Afghan war helped to destroy the power of the Red Army.

He will have watched satellite television, he will have sat in the corner of his room, brushing his teeth as he always did, with a mishwak stick, thinking for up to a minute before speaking. He once told me with pride how his men had attacked the Americans in Somalia. He acknowledged that he personally knew two of the Saudis executed for bombing an American military base in Riyadh. Could he be behind the slaughter in America?

If Mr. bin Laden was really guilty of all the things for which he has been blamed, he would need an army of 10,000. And there is something deeply disturbing about the world's habit of turning to the latest hate figure whenever blood is shed. But when events of this momentous scale take place, there is a new legitimacy in casting one's eyes at those who have constantly threatened America.

Mr. bin Laden had a kind of religious experience during the Afghan war. A Russian shell had fallen at his feet and, in the seconds as he waited for it to explode, he said he had a sudden feeling of calmness. The shell never exploded.

The US must leave the Gulf, he would say every 10 minutes. America must stop all sanctions against the Iraqi people. America must stop using Israel to oppress Palestinians. He was not fighting an anti-colonial war, but a religious one.

His supporters would gather round him with the awe of men listening to a messiah. And the words they listened to were fearful in their implications. American civilians would no more be spared than military targets. Yet I also remember one night when Mr. bin Laden saw a pile of newspapers in my bag and seized them. By a sputtering oil lamp, he read them clearly unaware of the world around him. Was this really a man who could damage America?

If the shadow of the Middle East falls over yesterday's destruction, then who else in the region could produce such meticulously timed assaults? The rag-tag Palestinian nationalist groups that used to favour hijacking are unlikely to be able to produce a single suicide bomber. Hamas and Islamic Jihad have neither the capability nor the money that this assault needed. Perhaps the group that moved close to the Lebanese Hezbollah in the 1980's, before the organisation became solely a resistance movement. The bombing of the US Marines in 1983 needed precision, timing and infinite planning. But Iran, which supported these groups, is more involved in its internal struggles. Iraq lies broken, its agents more intent on torturing their own people than striking at the US.

So the mountains of Afghanistan will be photographed from satellite and high-altitude aircraft in the coming days, Mr. bin Laden's old training camps highlighted on the overhead projectors in the Pentagon. But to what end? For if this is a war it cannot be fought at all without some costly military adventure overseas? Or is that what Mr. bin Laden seeks above all else?

be careful mark, posting some of these articles and links....chem11 will start calling you a "racist"....

from one of the first articles you posted...

Letís consider our options and see if there is a way out of this mess our "diplomats" have created. The sane thing to do would be to close our borders, expel all illegals, and forbid any immigration from non Christian countries. Then bring home all our troops from foreign countries, renounce all our military alliances, arm our loyal population and declare ourselves neutral, but dangerous. Trade with all, but keep our noses out of their business. Stop selling military hardware to anyone anywhere in the world. Let them spend themselves into oblivion, as the Soviets did, and we are doing, if they are so set on fighting.

sounds like a winner !

btw, could you put that "steely dan" back jack midi in a post...

Aside from preventing immigration from 'non-christian' countries, I'm in complete agreement as well. I'm no bible-thumper and this country was founded on the princple of religious freedom. I'd rather see immigration brought to a complete, but temporary, stand-still than try to determine what defines 'Christian' and what doesn't.

I'm glad too see this very same debate raging across every corner of the net. Once people are made aware of the facts concerning Osama Bin Laden and take a look at long-term solutions and the risks asociated with an all-out war, the rhetoric starts to die down.

And for what it's worth, I don't consider you a racist, T/S. I consider your emotionally charged and perhaps poorly stated comments racist. Islam is like any other religion. You have people who have been brainwashed into a false belief sysem for the benefit of the elite and you have people that find the underlying truth that unites all people in the brotherhood of man.
