Blue Flash ?

Yesterday morning about 3:15 seen a rather large blue flash in the sky, which was quite large approximately where the big dipper is located from my location and the light covered an area larger than the dipper appears, at that time here it is below the horizon. Also I seen a few meteors too, just wondering if anyone else seen the same, I know the Orionid meteor shower peaks this weekend, but this was one big blue flash.

not really, stayed up another 30 minutes waiting for another one, did have a helluva hard time getting to sleep though...I'm going to watch some more tonight, it was pretty darn cool...

Wild. I saw exatly the same thing while I was out camping in the desert, T/S. Keep looking up! (no missing time, 3T3). |
