So why is it that only in the past few months, one is able to see them (with the naked eye) and in 95F heat?

But there are many pictures of persistent contrails over Europe, especially in the 1940s.

And how does an X mean anything anyways? I have never seen yet explains how an X means chemtrails.

I suppose you mean during WWII when there were hundreds of aircraft in the air at the same time? Another suggestion, maybe?

Well I've seen the X in the sky on a few occasions and ONLY since May 2003 (there's not a great deal of air traffic where I live). If it's not chemtrails, please enlighten me as to WHAT IT IS. I'd really appreciate your view on this phenomenon.

You didn't aske me this but I will give my 2 cents anyway. How about planes simply crossing paths.

F.K.

Okay, but the questions is not numbers of aircraft, but whether trails persisted. And there is no question that there have been these trails happening, ever since aircraft have been able to go that high. If trails did persist then, then either B-17s were part of a mass spraying conspiracy, or the rational that persistent trails means chemicals, has a big hole in it.

See, that is a major flaw in the chemtrail thinking. In a way you are saying, well prove an X is not spraying, when there has not once been any explanation offered by a chemtrail believer as to how an X would have anything do to with spraying. Can you name name any cropdusting methods or insect control methods that use an X?

You have only seen persistent contrails and intersecting trails recently? They have been around a long time. Just because you just started noticing them, does not mean that is when they first started

Why do X happen? Well planes do cross paths. Are they not supposed to? Would you feel safer if they timed the flights so that trails never intersected?

I can't really see air traffic controllers allowing such dangerous manoeuvers to happen. Isn't that why we have these people (on the ground) making sure planes don't hit each other?

You're not a chemtrail believer and you offer no explanation yourself. Very funny, guy!

"Can you name name any cropdusting methods or insect control methods that use an X?"

As if cropdusters operate at 35'000 feet? Yeah, right!

"You have only seen persistent contrails and intersecting trails recently? They have been around a long time."

Turbo-prop man makes killer statement!

"Just because you just started noticing them, does not mean that is when they first started."

What's that supposed to mean, Arizona Junior?

Seeker, I got carried away there. It was a private joke that somehow escaped my fingers and landed on the keyboard!

If you give me a few examples of the music you like, perhaps I'll grant you your request and indicate a P2P site where you can find my "noise".

That's about right. I'm just an amateur.

Well apart from the slurpy stuff, although I do like some Barry Manilow (...), we do have quite a few bands in common. I once was a big fan of Deep Purple (saw them live 3 times), Talk Talk (saw them live), Jeff Beck (saw him live twice), the Police and early Pink Floyd. I only recently discovered Rush (great stuff) and Alice in Chains and have listened to Tom Petty and Huey Lewis. My main influences would be Weather Report, Miles Davis (live), Jimi Hendrix (live), Earth, Wind & Fire and Led Zeppelin (live). The years fly by, eh Seeker?

I had the impression things were slowing down?

There is no P2P for my [industrial] noise. I don't use computers for music distribution.

Don't worry about it. You've heard it all before.
