NASA responds with a hack attempt

I sent an email to Michael Mishchenko
NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies
asking him about the chemistry of highly persistent contrails. (he ran the LIDAR contrail studies)I received this email as a response and also a hack attempt from a NASA computer to my machine.
First a link to the evidence file. http://www.chemtrails.org/hackevidence.doc
Now for a copy of the email and response that started it.
Michael:
Unfortunately, I am not an expert on chemistry and
physics of contrails and cannot answer your questions.
You may want to contact Ken Sassen at
ksassen@atmos.met.utah.edu
Hopefully he will be able to provide answers to your
questions.
Best regards,
Michael

Very scary. How were you alerted that they tried to hack, is that a special program or security setting? If so, how would I go about getting it, or setting up my computer to alert me if unauthorized connections are attemped?

The software I used to detect and trace the intrusion is NeoWatch 2.2 and NeoTrace 3.2 software available from http://www.neoworx.com
This is state of the art software and works better then any other on the market.
I am on a T-1 line right on the backbone so I get quite a few hack attempts to try to use my bandwidth. |

Thanks a bunch! I'm downloading the demo, and if I like it I may purchase the full version. It sounds like really good software.

I reported the attempt to the network admin Curt A. Suprock, they take this type of thing very seriously.
They know all of this is on the record and have to act on a legitimate reported incident. There are specific reporting procedures they must follow. This is the email response from the network admin at gsfc.nasa.gov
Fwd: Hack attempt from a machine on your network
Hank,
Please investigate and take appropriate action on the following incident report.

Nothing against you chemorg, but how in the world does anyone know whats up with that company or any company? I don't like adding stuff to my computer personally as lord knows how much tracking ability is in the actual software you are installing to catch people tracking you!I guess I don't trust anybody anymore. How sad.The new digital TV link ups everyone is racing to get is a sure bet for tracking families. Not for me. |

Like I trust anyone or any company I don't know. The machine I use for the net is designed for use on the net. My file storage system is not connected to the net. All big files are transfered to the file system by my 2.2 Gig ORB disk. The small ones are transfered on floppy after testing.
You have to find tools you can use to keep your self protected. This is just one firewall program, there are others.
The important thing is that I made a dent in their idea they can spy on us without restraint. They will need to use other ways to get to my files see what I am up to.
Being hooked up to a T-1 I am always getting hack attempts. Some days I report over 100 individual attacks to my system.
This one is just interesting because it came from a .gov computer and I can prove it and they know it. I will follow up on this and see if any result of the investigation of the hack attempt is forth coming.
I am on a radio talk show next Thursday on the West coast and want to have some answers to my specific contrail chemistry questions befor that time. If none is forth coming I will be calling and sending Faxes till I get a response.
