Don't get too shocked by that! I have lived in Indiana all my life, it is one of the most paranoid, ultra-conservative states in the union.
Indianapolis Radio Stations still fight like dogs to keep Bob & Tom on the air. A few years ago Howard Stern showed up...My GOD...the White Anglo-Saxon Church State was at war!! 
I personally find it rather comical...believe me, it doesn't keep anything out of someones reach...Illinois, Michigan, Ohio and Kentucky all have it available!

RTW, I've been trying all morning to access various sites, but the really strange thing is this is the ONLY site I can access! Everything else says "this page cannot be found". What's up with that I wonder???

I have problems believing that letter. Personally I think it's all crap.
To have a website banned thoughout an entire state is impossible. Thousands of servers would have to block Rense's site, which I don't believe they have the ability to do, not to mention it would be illegal. THEN, to say it's being banned because of being an Alternative Religion...PLeeeeeaaase, don't be gullible people. We have Consitutional Rights to read, believe, or follow any religion we want without censorship. Rense has a lot of balls printing this propaganda just to promote his site.

RTW, we still do. You have to have faith in our country and it's government. Our structure is firm and our Rights are intact. It's evil self-serving men in powerful positions with liberal and socialistic views, that are hard upon us...not our laws, not our courts, not our freedoms. We still have those. Nothing can step on our toes for too long, until we order them off. We are Americans, this is our country, our Republic government, made for us, we the people, now and forever. Our leaders, that we elect to represent us, are our public servants. Remember that.

Here was a comment further down on the same page as the article that probably explained it a bit better. Remember....filtering software can be installed to ban anything on your private intranet. That doesn't mean it is banned on the entire internet, just on the private internal network which had the filtering software installed.

The product doing the "banning" is a product called websense. There aim is to categorise every web site on the Internet. They have around 50 categories and from what I understand UFOs get lumped into "religion" (maybe they have Sitchin fan??) the process is part automated, part human intervention. (the main aim of the product is to stop, people looking at non-work related sites during work time!)
I'm sure if you drop them an e-mail www.websense.com they'll happily re-classify your site. How do I know? I installed and configured websense for my company and got the same result, which I quickly changed so I could view my favourite web site!"

How many times have "we the people" voted for something in overwhelming numbers, just to have some federal judge overturn OUR
vote??????
Here in Calif it happens almost every election. We have voted numerous times and had it overturned. Medical use of Marijuana is a good example. We vote yes, with controls, the Feds tell us no, agaist federal law, the hightest in the land.
If this were truly a free society the hightest law in the land would be the law of the VOTING MAJORITY, not the law of some dried up sniveling prune of a federal judge!!
This is not freedom to rule ourselves. It is a slap in the face to the American way of life and the constitution of The United States Of America. Every day more and more is taken from us with seeming disregard for what We The People want.
Check out what is happening in Ore. in regards to the water for farmers. A fish, a sucker, that the feds for years have tried to poison out, is now protected to the extent that 1200 farming families are going broke and the land sits idle. Freedom, I think not. The fish has more freedom than voting Americans.
Sorry, but as you see, I have slight disagreements.

Rense's webiste can be simply blocked at any internet junction (probably that on the backbone connection to the Jeff's site).
