The Nellis Range UFO Video

quote:
There is no question that the UFO is a strange but real flying object simultaneously captured on both video and radar. The UFO also follows a carefully controlled trajectory, indisputably indicating intelligent control. This is most clearly shown by the craft maintaining an absolutely constant distance from the radar site while it climbed and circled. Therefore, the debate boils down to whether or not it is human in origin.
Sometimes the theories put forward by skeptics are preposterous. One early one by an infamous UseNet debunker was that the Nellis UFO was nothing more than a cluster of drifting balloons. But the sharp turn, accelerations, high speeds, and controlled trajectory conclusively rule that out.
Given that the video was shot close to where black project aircraft are known to be tested at Area 51, one obvious possibility is that this is a new type of secret craft utilizing a previous unknown propulsion system. One MUFON member who was selling complete copies of the video, claimed that this object was a black project surveillance craft, and represented 40 years of development of the electrogravimetric propulsion system of Dr. T. Townsend Brown, quickly classified by the military back in the 1950s after a demonstration.

Well, Nellis AFB in Las Vegas was the original home for the very otherworldly looking F-117 stealth fighter. It would not suprise me it they are testing a new aircraft for devious purposes. Seems that that type of aircraft is the one that most looks like a UFO.
(SIDENOTE)--It has been stated that I lied about F-117's at Nellis. Funny, any civilian who takes a ramp tour can clearly see the tan hangar with the words painted in black on the outside of it. "Home of the stealth fighter". They are no longer at Nellis, but at one time they were.

They do look very similar and could even be the same object or at least the same type of object.

quote: Air Combat Command's only F-117A unit, the 4450th Tactical Group, achieved operational capability in October 1983.
Since the F-117’s first Air Force flight in 1982, the aircraft has flown under different unit designations, including the 4450th Tactical Group and the 37th Tactical Fighter Wing at Tonapah Test Range, NV; the 57th Fighter Weapons Wing, Nellis AFB, NV; the 410th Flight Test Squadron/410th Test Squadron, Palmdale, CA; and Detachment 1, Test Evaluation Group, also at Holloman, which falls under the 53rd Wing, Eglin AFB, FL.
The stealth fighter emerged from the classified world while stationed at Tonapah Airfield with an announcement by the Pentagon in November 1988 and was first shown publicly at Nellis in April 1990

quote: There are two F-117A simulators, both built by CAE-Link Corp. in Binghamton, N.Y. The first devise is called the weapons system trainer (WST). It is located at Holloman AFB and is used for pilot training. The WST entered service at Nellis AFB in January 1987.

quote: At least three F-117s are on public display, one at the USAF Museum at Wright-Patterson AFB in Ohio, one as a "gate guard" at Nellis Air Force Base, and one at the Lockheed Martin Skunk Works. All three are early evaluation prototypes.

quote: As the F-117s trickled into Tonopah, operations evolved into a schedule. Flight crews would be shuttled each Monday afternoon on a chartered airliner from Nellis Air Force Base, after spending the weekend home with their families. On arriving at Tonopah, they would be given a briefing on the night's mission. Hangar doors were not opened until an hour after dark. For the first year of operations, flight operations were restricted to the Nellis range.
Permission to perform off-range operations had to be given by the President himself.
Flight routes were defined to avoid populated areas, and some routes were not used if the Moon was more than 50% full. Pilot communications and transponder signals were defined so that the aircraft mimicked an A-7.
