Yes those are F-15s. Probably E models due to the dark paint.
Due to the nature of your name, and the puropse of this site, Im going to assume that you think they were spying or somthing?

australia doesnt even have black jets.
also are you still a pilot?

What would give anyone any indication that these F-15Es were on a mission to intercept a spaceship? And who the heck sends Strike Eagles to intecept a UFO?

who knows they might of just been on a patrol or something.
there was alot unusual stuff in the sky at the time.
thats the reason why i suppect its chasing a ufo.

Im going to assume they were on a training sortie. That covers about 99% of all military flights you see.
there was alot unusual stuff in the sky at the time.

It looks like 2 stationary lights, and the camera just moved around with the shutter open to leave the lines.
The lights could have been one of millions of things.
Where, exactly, where the photos taken. |

From what I can learn, that town (Hood River) is out east of Portland, OR. So, I mean, the 2 lights could have been landing lights from aircraft (MD-80 especially) on approach to Portland, or a sattelite airport. The photos look like it was dusk, which would give more weight to that theory.
But, I really see no reason to think it is some sort of spaceship. Plus, I wouldnt send F-15Es to intercept a potential bogey. And they didnt look like they were scrambling or anything. They were going quite slow.
