Camera doesn't matter! PostThu Jun 17, 2004 11:48 am  Reply with quote

Well, i proved it to myself. I used a Canon sure shot 38-65mm 65 zoom, whatever that means, all i know is that it takes regular film. I had 3 pics left, so last sunday i took them of the sky. I got them back yesterday, and what do you know, it had one object on it. I'm posting the pic as "Regular Camera".

Nevermind, this freakin computer crap is pissing me off. I don't know why there is an X there. My husband did all the scanning and cropping of the pic. It says it's an adobe image...so? I don't know, i'll have him try to fix it for me tonight...if anyone want's to see it i could email it to ya. Probably just be a red X though....LMAO

LOL! I don't mean to laugh at your frustration, but you gave me a chuckle! Sorry! That’s excellent you tried taking the photos with a manual camera – you sure are determined! Maybe next we can try black and white film? hee, hee. I’ll PM you my email address. I'd like to see your photo. When you respond, please put something in the RE: line so I know it’s you or I’ll delete the message. Thanks.

FYI, the Canon Sureshot is a decent manual camera! I'm not just saying that because I LOVE Canon cameras (which I DO)! Ha! 38-65mm means you can go from a slight wide angle (3Cool to a slight zoom or telephoto (65). At 50mm, your camera is set to what human eyes see. Here is an example showing different mm settings – it’s pretty close to what your camera offers.

35mm

50mm

75mm

I think it does matter...

The 35mm is of a much higher resolution, and when maximized is much more detailed than the latter. You can even tell by the TN's that the 35 is much more resolute.
