The "mutant mushroom invasion" here in Louisiana was covered on the local t.v. news tonite. Apparently, my property is not the only place this is occurring. Folks through-out the Shreveport/Bossier area are reporting the mushroom invasion also...yards all over, filled with them! The explanation for these has been given as "moisture", excessive moisture. When I took pictures in the early summer of the mushroom problem in my area, it was dry as a bone...The entire area here, is taking on a really "freaky" looking appearance with so many sizes, colors, and weird shapes of these mushrooms..lichens...whatevers! They are in some of the wierdest colors and clusters and styles and shapes that I have ever seen! I have pic of the "blue" one at the images section. We have lived down here for almost 20 yrs. and had lots of rain and humidity at times, but never had a mushroom invasion like this...They say fungus has been found in chem contents...so much in them now that fungus is growing...or spores involved?? Just darn strange, is all. Love and light, Joanne ^j^ This report is from NW Louisiana. J. |

Don't be pan frying those puppies up Jo.You may get more than a bad trip.More like some
toxic strain of NWO evil I'd say.Why not have a few tested....Never know what ya"ll find.It could get national coverage depending on what is found.Hummm |

Yowee, I never thought about the testing aspect...ya really think somethin would show up in them?? I wonder what kind of lab...wait a minute, Louisiana State University is in Shreveport and surely, they have some kind of scientific department there that might handle that sorta thing...I'll try them and let ya know what happens! No, won't munch those..stickin to "herbal" therapies! Love, Jo ^j^ |

It has been rainy here in Houston lately, but there are more mushrooms than I've ever seen. All different kinds. Growing in people's yards and gardens. Some have caps as big as plates... |

Thermit, And I always imagined the "aliens" would be more humanoid in form!! Seriously though, it is a freakin invasion around here...I have never seen anything like it...Have lived in New Jersey, the Carolinas, Hawaii, and some other high humidity, rainy places and have never seen this type of "mushroom behavior"!! Now if they suddenly grow and sprout lil feet and big heads and big dark eyes, I'm outta here!!! Love, Jo ^j^ |
