WE have always, up until now, had a winter.perhaps the change in water color is the result of water which is to warm to support the ecosystem which existed in more normal times,and a new, "sick" one is replacing it.I have seen this effect in the ponds ,lakes and rivers here, total dye-ofs, caused by heat stress and polution in the ecosystem.The die-off of minnow, for instance, could cause the predators in the pond to die also.An ecosystem is like a puzzle, all of the pieces being nessesary for the true "picture" to be revealed and sustained'I think a vert important piece of this puzzle is missing in floriduh |
