What is this??

Hello!
A few days ago I've seen some very strange and dangerous-looking clouds, and I've taken a photo of it. Here is it:

The subject is the "spot" onthe left side of the picture, right above the tree top. The clouds seem to approach to each other spiral-like. About one and a half our after this photo was taken, the city of Duisburg, not very far away from where it was taken, was hit by a tornado (I think it was an F3, or a large F2). Could this be the beginning of a tornado?
