Mech some fantastic stuff. Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge said last week the efforts would include air surveillance over the city, monitoring activity in the harbor and stationing security personnel at every hotel housing any of the 2,508 delegates or 2,344 alternates.
Tom'I Got Your Back' Ridges quote only goes to show whom the security is really meant for.And it ain't for us. Lets hammer the hell out of this bush moron all week. _________________ "The police are not here to create disorder.

Wow, you guys found a lot of good shots. I've been looking around the net and there isn't much up yet. I figure tomorrow there should be more (you'd think)
If anyone finds a shot of the coffins, post it. I saw it on the news tonight and it was wild. The protestors were carrying a thousand flag-covered coffins.

Great! thanks.
Notice how there is a billboard or huge sign hung on the side of that building? (the one with the yellow t-s!@# people) I'm surprised they got away with that. You'd think the city would be yelling, sign ordinance, sign ordinance |

And about the picture containing several individuals wearing masks depicting the Bush administration. I believe that there was supposed to be some regulation stating that no more than three people within any certain identifiable group could be wearing a mask? Don’t quote me on that one though. I guess they felt that masks might’ve been used as a method of disguise for committing illegal activity of some sort? If it’s actually true that is? About the signs, I didn’t hear anything pertaining to what the city would or wouldn’t allow.
I can’t wait to see what tomorrow has in store for the RNC! This could end up backfiring on them in the polls. They hoped to cash in on residual empathy & sympathy from the 9/11 tragedy. Now it seems that they are instead going to have to associate their unwelcome arrival with the grand dissention of New Yorkers being displayed in the streets. |
