chemplane crashes perhaps???? PostThu Jul 26, 2001 5:03 pm  Reply with quote

One must wonder what the U.S. and the Brits were doing in their little exercise!Couldn't be chemtrails now could it? I know it says it was a jaguar jet but I still wonder why the Brits are over here with us training? It sounds cozy to me.http://dailynews.yahoo.com/h/nm/20010726/ts/britain_usa_jet_dc_2.html

RTW, the British (UK) are one of our allies, that is why we train and participate in excercises together.

Rather doubtful that this was a Chemplane.

Fighter planes would make terrible spray planes, not enough room for any decent "Chem" storage. Tankers much more likely as they are already outfited for hauling liquids. For example the KC-10 Extender can carry 170,000 pounds in it's tanks, besides what it needs to fly with.

If foreigners can't train here, I wonder why the big influx of German folks in Alamogordo, NM. It's not exactly a logical vacation destination in the Southwestern U.S.

Here you go:
http://bases.defensecity.com/3565/01_3565.htm

Effective May 1, 1996, the German air force activated the Tactical Training Center at Holloman. The TTC will serve as the parent command for two German air crew training squadrons. The F-4 Training Squadron oversees all German F-4 student personal affairs, and provides German instructor pilots to cooperate in the contracted F-4 training program provided by the U.S. Air Force (20th Fighter Squadron). A second TTC unit, the Tornado Training Squadron, provides academic and tactical flying training, by German air force instructors, for German Tornado aircrews. The first contingent of Tornado aircraft arrived at Holloman in March 1996. More than 300 German air force members are permanently assigned at Holloman to the TTC--the only unit of its kind in the United States. On 1 May 1996, the German air force Tactical Training Center was established in concept with the 20th FS which provides aircrew training in the F-4E Phantom II. 600 permanent active duty personnel will provide training to German aircrews and maintain a squadron of Tornado aircraft.

Did anyone see the wreckage? Was it indeed a Jaguar or are we just taking the news as truth?Since when are foreigners allowed to take over our airspace with training? If everyone who wanted to did, boy the skies would be busy..especially now I can't say as I really believe it wasn't a Jag, my point is why do we automatically assume the news is correct? Ba...Ba....Ba...

I work with the Germans out of Holloman AFB. They are great folks.

Our government is allowing a lot of different countries to train in our country. It's cheaper for the other countries to do it, it allows them to fly in less restrictive airspace than in their own countries, it helps us to train with them, it helps keep more of our bases from closing, and it nets lots of revenue for local economies. That being said, I don't like it because they are steadily eating up airspace and training that should go to the US Military.

The German Air Force flies F-4s and Tornados out of Holloman. They also have an army training detachment at Fort Bliss, TX.

The Taiwanese Air Force flies F-16s out of Luke AFB, AZ.

The Signapore Air Force flies F-16s out of Luke and Cannon AFB, NM.

The United Arab Emirates are currently conducting site surveys to train and fly their new F-16s here in the States as well.

Many different air forces train at Nellis AFB, NV for exercises like Red Flag. Countries such as Great Britain, Germany, Spain, France, Chile, Canada, and many others have trained there. There are also many small joint exercises that involve jets from other countries. It's a great benefit to train with them, believe me.

But, I'm just a disinfo agent. What do I know?

Any further questions about this or other subjects can be asked via e-mail at TopGun0069@hotmail.com.

Ciao!

Maverick

Quite honestly this stuns me!!!Maybe I'm behind the times here, but who asked the American people who live here how we feel about littering our skies with military from other countries?Personally its way over crowded with our military.I wish everyone would go away, and NO I don't want them to protect me,quite honestly I'd rather live in a world where there is no military needed!

I'm glad that TG finally admitted that he is a disinfo agent. It was REALLY getting to be quite nauseating to the people on the board who possess a decent sense of discernment.

RTW--matey

I used to be a RAAFie and fair dinkum we train here sometimes because we are good friends with the US regardless of what we think of you Yanks. You seppos just don't get it sometimes. Read your commentary on Electronic Warfare and you chose to believe it, now you question this story as authentic.
Mate you are inconsistent like most Yanks I know--a bit of a wanker I tell ya.

Aussie Rover, I've seen you Aussies on base plenty of times...my hats off to ya! Especially, because I like the Aussie hats, uniforms...and you are our allies. Now, when I see the "real" foriegner types...Russia, Chinese...now, that bothers me...but I also know that most of the Worlds worst terrorists have been trained right here in our Yank colleges, universities...comforting thought! You guys are o.k. The others....??Can't be sure of Russian/Chineses etc. agenda. Joanne

Hey, Topgun!

Explain THIS jet picture, please!

You're a pilot. You're ever-so-rational-and-logical. In YOUR world, there's no such
thing as 'chem'trails.

Would you please explain THIS airplane picture to us all?
Philmont -the pilot who posts at Carnicom, and can instantly debunk a tiny plane reference buried deep in a thread--has declined to address this topic.

(This is not my picture--wish it was-it's spectacular!-- but twice, and only twice, I have seen this same wide rainbow trail coming out, but in such close-up detail. It is breathtaking.)

Many Thanks...
