After winds, spiderling webs fall

Now that the gusty winds of the past weekend have subsided, hundreds of snow white spiderling webs are dropping from the skies over Sacramento and Amador counties. Clumps of sticky web are now on trees and driveways and cars and planes. Want samples, to see for yourself? e-mail your request, to see to believe. No contrails in the sky, this morning. Cy, do you see any aerial webs in your area? lila@goldrush.com |

One rather long piece that I caught had a huge black spider at the end of it.
This quote by Orange Fuzzy (snagged by Elvis) may answer some questions about this material.

More webs are falling as I type, winds have picked up slightly in advance of a small front. No clouds, no contrails. I am sure these webs are the same ones Carnicom had tested about a year ago, since they were also collected from this general area. Took some pictures today. Maybe Cydoniaquest would like to supervise an independent analysis with me? Jay Reynolds did once have a site which gave my account of the same occurrance last year. A picture was included. Hopefully that site will be revived again soon. |

Doesn't that GASBAG Reynolds ever shut-up?
We have been sprayed heavily for several weeks now. I saw the cob web like stuff falling here yesterday. I tried to get a sample of it but it disolves too rapidly. I'll try again next time I see it.I know a math professor at U of A who can get it tested for me, I can trust him . We have had a total white-out for over a week now. It is so hazy , visibility is down dramatically. It looks as if a forest fire is raging close by, but it is not. I saw two silver jets with NO markings flying over my home this morning . I went to drop off some things at the goodwill about 12:30pm and saw the same jets again, flying over town. They are very fast and very loud. I have heard them several times today, but only actually saw them twice. Wonder why they have no markings? Are they suppose to fly so low? They were just above tree level when I saw them this morning. The wind of them knocked over the flower pots beside my drive way and scared my cats so bad they hid for an hour. |

Nola, If you want, I could send a web sample from here, to you or any address that you designate for, if anything, comparison. From my experience in N. Calif, since 1977, it does appear to be the same spiderweb material I have encountered, seasonally. It is a lot like cotton candy, which shrinks and adheres to itself, when touched. Cy, what are your suggestions for having it analyzed? Could you help me post some pictures for Thermit? One thing, Nola, Carnicom lambasted the idea (last year) of a University related entity examining anything, because he thinks "they" are "in" on the conspiracy. Will that prevent you from associating with your friend, and getting some information regarding its' origin? |

LTC8K6,
What is that? some kinda handle?
Obviously .... correct spelling is not up your alley ..... English is where I'm at. The real way of spelling, after all .... you adopted the English language?
I read JR's "biblical proportional" post, that in itself was not really needed, interesting? ..... not unless you are into spiders!

Goldrush, You can send it to me, although I will have to e-mail you my private address- wouldn't want any GASBAGS getting hold of it This math prof is a friend of mine. We both have a kid in sports. He knows lots of people at the University, I'm sure he could get it tested without making a big deal out of it. He is rather Einsteinish, if you know what I mean. he is very openminded. I'm sure he will go along.
BTW Reynolds this is what you sound like to me " BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH" You are so full of hot air I'm surprised you haven't floated up into the stratosphere. |

Eyes getting heavy, Cy, there are some resources here, at Davis, and some people at Stockton that might take an analysis on, or better yet have a student use it as an independent project. Get in touch with me, somehow and we can play with the webbies and see if we get the creeping gumbbbbooooooooo! I doub't it. It would be a surprise to find it to be polymers. But its dependably seasonal appearance defies that logic. The Slavic families that farm around here use the appearance of these long, very white webs that float in, to be a reliable forcast of rain. Sure looks wet out there now! G'nite for now. |
