Clouds of Airborne dust do indeed create a cooling effect, reflecting sunlight back out into space, but geologically that is short term in the extreme. Dust settles. From Graham Hancocks Fingerprints of The Gods:
"...During the episodes of intense volcanism...we must envisage not one but many Krakatoas. The combined effect would at first have been a great intensification of glacial conditions, as the light of the sun was cut by boiling dust clouds...and temperatures plummeted. Volcanoes also inject enormous volumes of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere (A "Greenhouse Gas") so it is reasonable to suppose, as the dust began to settle during periods of relative calm (After Cataclysm) that a (GREENHOUSE EFFECT) occurred. A number of authorities attribute the repeated advances and retreats of the great ice sheets to precisely this see-saw interaction between volcanism and climate."
So who is to really know? It is all guess work until we develop time travel and see for ourselves. But one thing is sure. Impacts not only create relative short period cooling/glaciation due to dust clouds, but much longer term effects due to subsequent and extremely violent volcanism, which may last millenia, where the heat energy of the molten layers of the earth are exposed variously about the globe for long periods of time, as well as the gases emitted which undoubtably have some sort of effect on the climate, and I would say a Warming effect, once the dust cloud clears. I think one could expect even the largest dust cloud to settle within a decade of its production, whereas gas and heat released during impact would have a much more lasting effect. Much more. My humble opinion, though this does explain a lot.
And crustal displacement via impact is a whole 'nother story....

The Real problem is getting the public,industry,and politicians to realize that what we are seeing is a normal order of things due to how the Earh behaves cyclically. |

Good points billder. It makes me pause to think just how vulnerable we puny Earthlings are. The Earth is pocked with many huge craters. When, not if, will it happen again?
I do not believe that any of the warming Earth has experienced in the past hundred years was caused by man. Does anybody suspect that man's present and future activities could have an influence on climate. All nations of the world are becoming industrialized. It's not just the USA and Europe anymore. Maybe the soot compensates for the gases, though. I am convinced that aviation emissions are beginning to have an impact on climate and plant life.
I like to believe that "free energy" will be developed in a free, capitalistic country, but there are no guarantees of that either. We should never underestimate oppressed, starving people. |

In a free and capitalist country free energy might come about, but gentlemen, lets not delude ourselves...this is no longer a free and capitalist country....the evidence is rife.
As to emissions and other things effecting the climate, it is all tied together, a butterfly flaps its wings in hong kong, and new york gets a storm next week...it is a system and we are in it...it is a CLOSED system.
The chemtrailing is a blatant effort to control or effect the system on a macro level. What has been learned from it (CT'ing) is rewriting the way we look at things....nasa is squawking about persistent jet "Contrails" causing over-warming of the ground and all that (A Coverup on their part!), and then we have things like the HAARP patent talking about, among many other things, focusing vast amounts of sunlight on specific areas, and materials being ionized in energy production, and that is, inarguably, climate effecting.....b
