I look for the corporate lobby to eventually TRY and outlaw citizens growing their own food by way of spreading pattented genes (intentionally) into native crops. Already happening (i.e.Percy Smeiser etc.)
Anyone interested in biodiversity as concerns seeds might want to check out an outfit in Decorah, Iowa called Seed Savers Exchange. (I highly recommend them for anyone wanting Heirloom (non-hybrid) seeds) or just interested in seed saving.
