How to move from page to page?

Thermit, I am having trouble figureing out how to get to a page in the middle of a multipage topic.
say as an example, page 17 of "High Hopes" with 80 some pages.
The control button on the bottom of page one let me either skip to pages
2,3 or page 86
if i skip to page three, the buttons allow me to only move to page 4
With a slow connection like I have, it takes forever for each page to download, so that I can move forward one page at a time toward page 17
Is there another way to do this? |

I know exactly what you are talking about. It is a pain, isn't it!?
You can get closer to where you want to be by editing the URL directly.
Here's an example from the CT Reports thread...
http://www.chemtrailcentral.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1905&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=400
just change the last number, which represents the post # in that thread, and you can skip around a bit quicker.
Maybe we can improve the code later. |

Thanks, that helped a lot, i could move pretty fast to different pages.
I still can't find the post i am looking for, it was about Spiders in space and Spiders in goats (the Nexia web connection)
(makes you wonder what was in the "goat story" bush was reading the school "kids")
The link in the webstrands topic to it no longer works, and the spider topic is somewhere in the 90 some pages of HiGh hOpes
I will stumble over it eventually |

Yeah, I know, plus the search is only working for the threads since the software switch. Aye Carumba!
I do remember a Spider Silk in Goat's Milk thread I posted a long time ago, but can't find it either right now. Here's a web reference...
