I don't think it is fair to just separate people into catagories.....isn't that discrimination ? How about number on the rest of you ?
I also think that ltc is right and jay has been asked quite a few questions....
The knee-jerk reaction of an alcoholic is to deny the addiction....
I also believe the same to be involved when some experience knowledge that they were not aware of and immediately feel inferior...causing some to lash out at this new knowledge.....(not pointing fingers)
If some cannot handle the truth, or facts, well I think thats where we get our problem, although it may show on this board, it is also a society thang.....
It still baffles me why some take things so seriously.......
These are just words and it is you that put meaning to them......
I like this board thermit,and you have shown to be a reasonable webmaster, but the first banned individual (other than vec) and I will leave too...
My idealism is more important than my curiosity...

But on the positive tip Jay has made a few very decent posts, IMVHO. A few less timewarp prognostications would be cool...

Now that's a tuffy...
Here's what I would do since you asked...I would insist, that crapping on the floor isn't what goes on in my house, then hand them the broom....if they continued I would whoop their a**....
Now, jay is not crapping on the floor, and like I said don't see much wrong here myself...so what you might do is plainly state on the front on the BB, your criteria for posting...just a suggestion...
I must admit, I like to have fun with sore hump..I mean throat...I try to treat all with respect,but we all have our sides of the truth, yours, mine and the truth and sometimes it does get out of hand, I haven't seen anything other than cy's "reynolds is a fraud" thing that even slightly bugged me....
Tell ya' what , all posters' here go to CNN's online political chat room,post a few ideas , makes this look like heaven...

Thermit, where are my "standings" in your analysis? Posts which reply to questions posed, should not be included as being "intrusive". Do you really think that your website is being "sullied" with replies? The name calling I saw recently looks like bully stud-wrestling that takes away from a topic at hand. The medium of faceless, internet retort, is fertile for such correspondence, _ _ it happens. Let it pass, and let the grinding of ideas continue. Whatever the motivation is, if any thoughtful process results from it, beyond diss- this, or dis- that, then there is room to accumulate more clues to either fortify or break down, current thought. Global warming, politics, power-brokers, science, clouds, weather, engines, engineering, low-level spraying, pesticides, MTBE, pollution, more politics, health, defense programs, history, and more, all play easily into the hands and minds of people who want one thing -- to prove themselves right, or prove others wrong. Focusing upon questions, is part of the goal? |

Now I know Christy is joking, but she does have a very good point....and here's what I mean:
Now this is not my idea mind you, but suppose there were a separate de-bunkers section? We could call it the Debunker crap-on-the-floor room (if you will). But let me just ask you de-bunkers...seriously, would this idea work? Would you guys stay in your corner and let the people who wanted to seriously talk about their chemtrail sightings, observations and theories go un-harassed? Then, if someone wanted to know what the de-bunkers were thinking, they could go over there of their own free will.
Now here's my opinion for this idea: I don't think it would work. If it would work, Jay would still have his site up and running and all the people who wanted to de-bunk would go over there and pat themselves on the back saying how right they are. Problem is, people that have actual observations of anomolous occurences and serious questions if we are in fact being sprayed, do not seek out de-bunkers. De-bunkers, instead feel the need to seek out them and explain to them what their lying eyes are telling them!
I believe that there are far more deep-seated psychological reasons in the mind of the de-bunker that motivate them to do this, and it has nothing to do with the search for the truth. They are obviously not satisfied with themselves. They must convince the world to think their way (whatever that way may be) for them to feel fulfilled. But who are they convincing really?? My best estimate here is ABSOLUTELY NO-ONE!! Pretty soon they will only succeed in driving away all the people who want to sincerely discuss their observations of chemtrails, and then there will be nobody around but the de-bunkers, patting themselves on the back......Then who will they have around to convince? Get out the Depends, now that I think about it, Christy's right, it may be the only thing that works with these guys.

I don't know what is worse your whining or the elvi......
Guess you missed canex's explanation of "ice crystals"..and why contrails persist....
