Last Friday was heavy with the ground hugging (0-1000 foot above sea level) HAZE, not to be confused with fog. There were some truely never before seen by me "clould formations", but I was too dazed to even photograph them. It rained Friday night, yet the haze was still there on Saturday, the rains can never seem to clean the skys of this type of haze, yet they can take out forest fire smoke.

Why it this new Brand of HAZE resistant to being washed out of the sky by rain?

Same conditions exist here over Western New York today, Jeanie... Massive spraying/Massive trails; total sky coverage at times...

A real chemical blitz taking place in our skies above us today!!!

Although we didn't smell any chemicals in the air today, as we have on a number of other days during heavy spraying, we did notice today, that when backlit by the sun, it was actually possible to see the chemical clouds from their spraying raining down on the landscape below in the form of a very fine mist. I just wish I knew what was in this stuff. Both my wife and myself, along with SO MANY other people we know right now in this region, all have very bad colds with flue like symptoms that just continue to hang on. My wife has had this now for over a month, and I'm going on two weeks with this awful bug.

I can't help but suspect that all of this stuff they are spraying on us now isn't somehow related to these health problems so many are experiencing here.

Very heavy spraying ALL DAY LONG! With a high pressure system in place, the sky in our area went from a beautiful cloudless blue observed early this morning to a sky covered in trails. The spray jets aggressively sprayed both the thick, quickly expanding miles long trails, and the miles long, stringy-type trails.

Oopsie v2..

3 hours after sunset this evening.

Getting pretty common seeing this, but I also realize that contrails form much easier in the winter months.

Again, I'm at a point where commenting takes us not much further than idle speculation, but at any rate, those who are seeking proof that there are Persistent Contrails after Sundown need look no further.

Louis, it's reaching that time where nocturnal trails warrent thrier own thread.

This was/is a critical linch-pin in determining a 'spraying' operation geared towards the reduction of Global Warming.

The fact that noctrural trails can spread into artificial cirrus means they interefere with nocturnal earth-to-space infra-red radiationduring moonside hours:

Artificial Cirrus traps Greenhouse Gasses. It will singlehandedly raise the local temperture by more that 5%, but it will flucuate through the night.

I see no evidence that the frequency of nocturnal perstsance overwhelms the day time trails, which means at this point they are both working towards an oposite goal with day trails heavily in the lead.

Applying deductive reasoning leaves us with this:

Trails during the day, despite what's in them, would *seem* to induce Radiative Forcing(man-made enviornmental change) which leads to Global Cooling.

As seen in post-911 days, the lack of contrail over the US lead to a measureable increase in ground level heat. These trails and thier fake cirrus aid in a ground cooling effect and to a degree bounce back the Sun's energy.

This action becomes..complicated when you seee it taking place in a noctrurnal setting.

We are making a heavy assumption here:

That the trails are induced by a 'spraying operation', and not some misunderstood interaction with 'normal(ala JP8, a not-so mormal jet fuel) in a local enviornment. It's not difficult with me in my limited understanding of science to recognize the potentialities of a supersaturation model on terms of aerial exhaust. In short, dump enough pollution in the enviornment, and you will reach a point of saturation where the trails themselves are not permitted to be absorbed by the loocal enviornment leading to persistance.

Keep one thing in mind:

The NSA reportrt in "Policy Implications of Greenhouse Warming: Mitigation, Adaptation, and the Science Base (1992)", GeoEngineering ( http://books.nap.edu/books/0309043867/html/433.html. ) section outlines several suggested methodologies, that are broken down to effecacy, cost, the biological effects on Human organiziisms, along with many other details, sharply exluding. This report had one interesting comment that still stands as a hallmark for future mitigation policys involving Aerial craft/exhaust:

Aircraft Exhaust Penner et al. (1984) suggested that emissions of 1 percent of the fuel mass of the
commercial aviation fleet as particulates, between 40,000- and 100,000-foot (12- to 30-km) altitude for a 10-year
period, would change the planetary albedo sufficiently to neutralize the effects of an equivalent doubling of CO2.
They proposed that retuning the engine combustion systems to burn rich during the high-altitude portion of
commercial flights could be done with negligible efficiency loss. Using Reck's estimates of extinction
coefficients for particulates (Reck, 1979a, 1984), they estimated a requirement of about 1.168 × 1010 kg of
particulates, compared with the panel's estimate of 1010 kg, based upon Ramaswamy and Kiehl (1985). They
then estimated that if 1 percent of the fuel of aircraft flying above 30,000 feet is emitted as soot, over a 10-year
period the required mass of particulate material would be emitted.
However, current commercial aircraft fleets seldom operate above 40,000 feet (12 km), and the lifetimes of
particles at the operating altitudes will be much shorter than 10 years. An estimate (National Research Council,
1985) for the half-life of smoke is 1.4 × 10-7/s.14 This gives a half-life of 83 days, or a little less than one-quarter
of a year. Thus the amount of fuel to be turned into soot continuously for complete mitigation (1012 t C) is closer
to 40 percent than to 1 percent. That seems impractical. However, if the amount of mitigation required is
equivalent to the 1989 U.S. emissions of greenhouse gases equivalent to CO2 (8 × 109 t CO2), the amount of soot
required would be 500 times smaller, and the required soot corresponds to less than 0.1 percent of the fuel
burned. If 1 percent of the fuel were used, about 25 × 109 t CO2/yr could be mitigated

This was said in 1992. They said the upper-cieling capacity of commercial flights prohibited these aircraft from making higher ascents and dissemninating the 'chemical' agent further in special fuel cocktails suck as Teller's aulluminum/barium rich particulate additives.

We now KNOW this is a falsehood. JP8 eliminates these commercial vehilcle restraints.

JP-8 flights are seemingly the higest of all commercial flights due to the altitude freedom they permit..
