I wasn't sure where I should post this so I put it here... hope someone out there finds this interesting:
the LAB manifesto
a work in constant development
· The LAB’s aim is to bring together the Artist and the Scientist for the manufacture of Sciartistic work.
· The LAB will supply an atmosphere of creative freedom where the artist/scientist can improve their work and produce it with the help of others like-minded for the benefit of all mankind. The LAB is supposed to be a haven where the trivialities of society won’t disturb with the ongoing process of creative and scientific work.
· Nationality, gender, age, apperance, sexual preferences or experience is of no value. Only the individual will be considered and if that individual is serious, dedicated, creative and in geniue love of the improvement of knowledge and originality concerning art, science and the birth of the God within.
· Animals are not allowed unless the LAB has the ability to supply grounds where the animals can roam freely.
· Meat will be prohibited and veganism encouraged with the aim of the LAB to one day produce and manufacture its own food resources.
· All forms of religion, patriotism, traditionalism and all other form of isms are, for the benefit of the LAB’s atmosphere, abandoned and will only be considered in work intended to destroy, deconstruct or evaluate them.
· No donations will be accepted anonymously or in exchange for any service.
· The LAB is closed to the public for saftey reasons, but this does not mean that it closes its doors on the society that exists outside. School classes will be allowed to visit and experience the LAB on certain open house days. People who are interested in attending the LAB will also be allowed to visit and come into contact with the members in order for them, and the LAB, to know if they are fit to enter.
· The LAB’s aim is to be free, but in the beginning it will cost (monthly membership fee) to live in the LAB for obvious reasons. This cost will, as the LAB grows, become reduced until it is completely devoid of any monetary concerns.
· All members’ only responsibility is to work with their work alone or with others, and set aside some time for the benefit of the LAB’s development, preservation and construction.
· When a door within the LAB is open anyone can enter, when a door is closed stay away.
· The LAB is to supply an atmosphere where drugs aren’t necessary and the heightening of them mind will come from other internal sources. But if a member partakes in any form of drug use (alcohol, tobacco, caffine, cannabis, cocaine, heroin, LSD etc) it is on his/hers own responsibility. Any form of excess usage will not be accepted. There is no room for addicts and alcoholics in the LAB and if a member develops a problem he/she will be helped to try and overcome it and if such efforts are unsuccessful he/she will have to leave.
· All profits made from material produced within the LAB are received as follows (inlcuding any royalties): 50% to the LAB and 50% to the author of the work (these two 50% halfs concern the money left over after the costs of the production has been paid for). If there are several authors these 50% will be divided amongst them according to amount of work done. All work produced within the LAB will be patented to the LAB.
· All the money that the LAB recives in forms of royalties, donations and membership fees will be used to produce new material and to pay for any expense that arise concerning maintenance and the health and wellbeing of the members. If there is money it will be spent. The LAB is not a profit mongering institution and if any such activities should arise with any member then he/she will be instantly banished.
· All forms of advertising, product planting and commercial aims are not to be touched or dealt with, unless the aim is to destroy them.
· New members are given a trial period of 6-12 months where the older members evaluate them concerning their dedication to their work and the work of others. If they prove worthy they are accepted into the LAB, if not they have to leave. If a decision cannot be made one of the older members can become sponsor to the undecided member to rectify whatever reasons there is that he/she is not seemed fit to enter.
· All members will undergo a de-programming and be made to realise their individuality and inherent godhood, unless they already have. If it is deemed suitable all members will be refered to as Gods, but there will be no rank or title system. The only different ‘classes’ are new members seeking admission and older members that already are admitted, but it is strictly forbidden to impose any authority in the sense that the old are better than the new. It would be natural for the older members to have more skill and knowledge and they are meant to inspire and help the new members, but that doesn’t mean they can’t learn from their students. The aim here is for the old members to want the new prospects to succeed and become part of the LAB, it has to grow or it dies.
· All members gather once a week (or when appropriate) to decide and discuss projects that will be undertaken and how they are coming along. Everyone is encouraged to work with people they necessarily would not work with. All proposals will be considered and there will be complete creative freedom. Everyone will have the chance to lead and direct their own projects, whilst they help out on others.
· Love (in the forms of relationships and casual sex) between the members are allowed, but must never be the cause of gossip, triviality or the disharmony of the LAB’s atmosphere. The LAB is above those petty emotions and members are supposed to rise above them. If a child is conceived within the LAB between two of its members, or through adoption, it will be a great day for then the first truly free child will be raised.
· If a member wants to leave the LAB he/she is free to do so. The LAB can bring about the success and recognition of an artist or a scientist, and once he/she has achieved it, he/she might want to be independent and go out into the world to pursue his/hers work. The LAB only expects (although voluntarily) this member to return for lectures and instruction in the future to the new young members, and to, if he/she has financial success, donate money to the LAB for its growth and improvement. If the member becomes corrupt the LAB will sever its ties with the member and not accept his/hers return or donations.
· Members are encouraged to learn and conquer at least one language other than the ones they have when they enter for the benefit of spreading the LAB throughout the world.
· When there are LAB’s all over the world a new member can be sent to the LAB where his/hers skills are needed the most. Or current members can change LAB if another LAB is in more need of their abilities.
· The LAB will go to extreme lengths to ensure that whatever material is produces reach the public through mediums such as films, TV, radio, books, magazines and the Internet. The LAB will try and establish its own TV and radio broadcast system and keep an official homepage updated regularly.
· The LAB will work in the following fields of Art:
Film, TV, Radio and Theatre
Music
Books (poetry, plays, manuscripts, essays, magazines)
Paintings and Sculptures
Comics
And many more…
· The Lab will work in the following fields of Science (just a few examples, no field will be ignored... maybe eugenics):
Biology
Chemistry
Alchemy
Mathematics
Genetics
History / Archeology
Philosophy
Homeopathy
Technology
Esoterism
Agriculture
Food
Occultism
Theosophy
Magnetism
Parapsychology
Enviromental Science
And many more…

At first glance this sounds OK, but in the long run it gives Art, Science, Plant-Eating, Sex, and Spiritual pursuits a Wagnerian Air.
Whenever you try and speed up evolution on a large scale, you will run into problems. It happens on the individual level, when that individual is ready for it, and one's idea of moving forward, is another's de-evolution.
The Biosphere tried a similar program, and there were lots of problems.

Is Hitler the only worl people want to throw at other people for having some dreams in this world?!

it is not a utopia, not a way to CONTROL humanity.... just a place where artists and scientist can live free from the pressure of society and do what they enjoy, with an aim to spread whatever beauty and knowledge they find or make!!!!
Dont be afraid? I posted it to see if anyone agreed or found it interesting, doesnt need replies on how bad it is: elitist and dogmatic society already told me that long ago!
