Ground level haze

I wasn't sure where to place this, so I played it safe & stuck it in 'Clouds'.
Ok, I've been watching a gradual decrease in visibility here in Columbus. This is a very tree-friendly city of less than 200,000 people. There are no major industries belching filth in the sky. There is a permenant ground haze that looks like nothing I have ever seen before.
This one taken on 6-23-05. The tall building in the distance is less than 3 miles away:
This one taken today at 4:30 pm:
As you can see, it's beyond the point where one would/should notice it, yet I see little mention of it by anyone ever..
Another one:
And another one:
The range of view here is less than 75 yards or so. You can see this white haze between yourself and objects that are increasingly less & less distant. I can see it interposed between me & trees across the street on my block.
It's nerve-wracking how little anyone has noticed this taking place.
Has anyone seen anything remotely like this in their own cities? I went to Smog Central about 6 years ago when I went to LA and I saw the smog blanket from the plane as I landed, but I was able to see for miles & miles on the ground.
I have never seen anything like this anywhere else. My city looks like the picture at carnicom's of the Grand canyon:
This seriously looks like a f*cking terra-forming project to me.

Ed, I've been seeing this haze and reporting it for three or more years. I live in N. Calif at 1500ft. Only very light industry and farming. We are reported to have the cleanest air in the state, but yet when this haze is present, you cant see a 1/4 mile. Lived here most of my life and this is not the norm.
Are you felling mellow, less interested? Headache, sick, dizzy, tired, worn out feeling. Welcome to comrade presidents NWO. |

Hello, David.
Yes, I have experienced all those sensations at various points, especially when getting up in the morning; I've been at times VERY disoriented like I was on a Jimbo Phelps toot the night before..It usually takes about 6 cups of coffee for me to be able to see straight most mornings, for what little distance I am able to actually see..
Thanks for your input. Ja, this reeks of "Air Harmacology", don't it?
By the way, the 6-25 image was taken with local humidity levels at or below 40%. Chew on that one.. _________________ "If the President has commander-in-chief power to commit torture, he has the power to commit genocide, to sanction slavery, to promote apartheid, to license summary execution." |

Haze

The haze is coal smoke. The Earth is smothered in it and getting worse everyday. If the mercury in this smoke is poisoning the fish, think what it's doing to us. Mercury isn't the only toxin in there either.
I pointed out the terrible haze to a few people and they claimed that it was humidity. HA! The RH was around 45%.
Any effect that contrails or chemtrails are having pales to the haze / smoke problem.
Tell me, Et or anybody, what has caused the tremendous hunger for electricity of which the coal smoke is a result? Who is using all of this electricity? With manufacturing moving out of the USA and more efficient home appliances in use, electricity consumption should have gone down.
Some of the haze is from Asia, and I can understand that, but most of what we see was produced right here at home. |

Yes, the Asian Brown Cloud is pretty nasty. Regarding the local haze, I was looking at the GOES images for my area yesterday & you can see that this haze is pervasive throughout the southeastern region. The way you can realize this is you'll see 'cracks' in it here & there; one in Florida, one in Alabama, etc. These cracks run through the haze kind of like veins, or mountain ridges, but I know that's not what they are. You can see a decent one in Georgia as well as some smaller ones in Florida & Alabama here:

Well, my previous reply vanished so: I have seen a lot of that haze both in the high desert of socal (victorville) and up here in the pacnw, on the northern portion of the olympic peninsula. When I was in socal, I almost believed it was just smog from LA, san bernardino, etc. but the haze was white and not the customary brownish haze of 'normal' pollution. When I started seeing it up here I knew what it was. I also noted increased grogginess, lethargy, etc. One hazy day I took a drive out to the coast and I saw two aircraft (the usual white unmarked boeing types) strafing parallel to the coastline spewing thick billowy trails....all at low altitude, say 4000-6000 feet. I've seen this happen over northern jefferson county as well, except it was one plane and only a couple of passes. |

I took several pictures today of the chemtrails covering my area, and i'd like to upload/display them, but the gallery seems to be borked. in addition, i cannot post in the chemtrail forum until i post here once, and then click the button to join the group, so i'm doing that here. |

Indeed. And that was taken by a coworker this past Sunday morning. 10/16/2005.
They sent it to me that afternoon, knowing my penchant for atmospherics. _________________ In the beginning of a change the patriot is a scarce man, and brave, and hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot."

And are you absolutely certain it's not an image artefact? |
