Photos of shiny balls near chems over Nashville

I don't have any idea what these things are. I am loathe to speculate, but I can tell you this... I took these shots on June 7th 2000, just north of Nashville proper. And two of these little units went over my apartment complex about 3 minutes apart. I keep a camera by my front door for interesting chemtrail shots, and on this particular day I got lucky.
