I surprised you can even see the sky!
Haven't been able to see anything but clouds here in Houston for 3 days, raining for hours on end...

I was wondering if anybody would be interested in participating in collecting trail observation data for an extended time period (several months)? To make the data useful, an observation would need to be taken everyday and an atmospheric sounding and possibly a GOES image would need to be be saved for each day in which the sky wasn't obscured. The sounding is very important to allow the observations to be analyzed and compared with expected contrail conditions. The purpose, of course, would be to determine if trails are being seen when conditions aren't supportive of contrails, especially very persistent ones.
