Okay...enough of the low blows. I'll always be grateful to noDeb for challenging me to try Flight Explorer. I had no idea how much I'd be able to learn with the tool.

That's OK, Thermit, let him have at it - he's a real credit to his cause and personal credibility. 2/20/dhMark, I've had a tough day and this evening was even worse, so I'll tackle that Thurs., if you don't mind. CD

Although, I personally feel that the trails shown above are Chemtrails, the reason for the "woven" effect, is likely due to wake vortices. Such a vortex is visible in the following photo:
This effect can twist contrails and Chemtrails, giving the false appearance that the plane might have been performing barrel rolls.
This photo shows a NASA test using smoke generators.

Looking at the above picture of the 727 .I can't help but wonder what sort of plumbing was stashed in the cargo bay of that plane. What size tank, and what was used for this test, and what it contained. Water ? Jet fuel? .I also noticed that the engines are not leaving any sort of vapor trail .In 1974 no less. Good picture Thermit.. Roman

That 727 photo may be the 'contrail powder generator' in action! This photo alone should eliminate a large contingent of Con-trail 'believers'.(I keep forgetting we don't have to deal with those folks anymore, must be getting my boards mixed up?)

According to the NASA site: quote:
Smoke from “smoke generators” installed on the tips of the aircraft’s wings is shown being entrained by the wing tip vortices.
