That's easy, Mark. It's trails on their way towards being cirrus aviaticus. You know, if it weren't for the planes that don't show up on Flight Explorer, there wouldn't really be any cirrus aviaticus here in Houston. Especially not the kind that lasts for hours and hours. But the reality is that we do get quite a good bit of this cirrus aviaticus. Measurements have shown that we have cirrus aviaticus more times than not.

In response to Mr. Eastman. I observed this happening in a valley at an altitude of about 1000ft. (valley, not cloud). Yes, the terrain is mountainous, but the nearest mountain higher than the surrounding terrain was a couple miles to the south.
Once the "mother" cloud was formed it neither asended of desended. But what did asend were the cloudlets coming from the upper left side.
And you are correct, my point was that once the cloud was formed and the short chemtrail appeared, the whole thing just disappeared, not slowly but all at once, poof.

i have stood along the planes
and alone and with company watched
quickly forming and disinigration
as if a magic act was taking place
leave~ing behing abreaviated excuses
meant only for the blind
"deaf and dumb amounge you"
you can't seem to see srtaight
its only conditional
there is a way out of heretrust no experts now
the sun is so blinding
the moon seems so large now
why is this happening where do we go from here?
