Actually, that is a damned good idea. I've been to the Vault a few times and was floored by the sheer magnitude of his collection.

Ridicule certainly is a good way of silencing someone with a story to tell, no?

I've found the best way to get this kind of information is to share a similarly strange experience with the interviewee. Hell, buy him a few beers and make something up if you have to! Hmmm, I recall seeing a copy of a USAF pilot's manual (from the academy, early 70's I believe) that detailed what you should do should you encounter a UFO.

I believe their advice was NOT to fire on it...

That is a really good song - a lot punchier and punkier than I thought it would be! And the voice comparison of Jello Biafra and Jim Morrison is definately on target... excellant.

To all: Thanks. We appreciate it. Told you it was a retro-piece-rant thingy.

EM: amazing what you can do with an SG with Joey Ramone on your mind, no?
(he just passed away a few days ago)

Thermit: Who is Doug Marks?

The chemtrail song is finished, btw. Slower more intense, better played.

BUT I have a better IDEA: If mark will write the lyrics, I will write the music and record the thing. There...the gauntlet has been thrown.

Step up.

Topgun, I haven't heard anything about the air-force being involved in the Missionary shoot-down yet either but I did hear for sure a CIA plane was right there in the middle. World news, I heard that. Also, Cool, you brought up the ufo thing...I respect you for that...most folks won't talk about those period....I've been investigating/researching those for quite awhile. Blessings, Joanne

Thinking about CT songs - Napster - other MP3 sites and all that...maybe if EVERYONE wrote some poetry/lyrics, then I could lay it down over different melody structures from metal to alternative(my fave right now)to blues to country. Then there would be versions of CT songs for every musical taste.

Several of you mentioned Morrison - interesting that his dad was an admiral and he has stated many times he was subject to MK stuff as a kid. The parallels are freaking me out. What a strange life this is.

Anyways, so SUBMIT YOUR LYRICS TODAY! Online naturally, and we'll make this a board project...

Oh...almost forgot.

Topgunn: You surprise me sometimes. The data you gave out on the pilots and all that seems accurate...feels that way too. Sometimes I can't figure you. But then, I remember, that the agency is all over the whole cocaine thing, which WAS POINTED OUT and then I realize that the real data we ARE NOT getting. Whenever the "captain real estate" is around, people die.

NSA-

I don't think that it matters what I do or what I say, I think that you'll always accuse me of being agency. Unfortunately, that's what I believe. I didn't set out to be your enemy on this site or Carnicom's. But, when the "baby killer" phrase came out, well, you sure didn't end up on my good side. You've accused me of lying a lot as well. You've called me your "bitch." I've said some things in return as well.

So, here we are. Besides agreeing to disagree, I suppose that we're in concurrence that Van Halen would be a lot better if Dave had stuck around. I guess that's worth something.

I'm not a liar. I'm not employed by the NSA, CIA, FBI, DEA, NAIC, or anybody other than the USAF. I am a pilot, and I do fly F-16s. I post on my own time, and under no "orders" or even a suggestion that I alter my posts or respond in any certain way. I suppose that I'm not changing any minds by making this statement, but I'm making it anyway. I've already said why I started frequenting this site and Carnicom's, but I stick around much for the same reason that I'm over at Rense, Art Bell, Whitley's, the Free American, Mufon, the Black Vault, etc. I also like BFRO and GCBRO for some interesting reading on Sasquatch.

I went through adolesence and college as a rebel, and thus dabbled in a lot of rebellious activity. My hair was a different color each week, and my primary mode of transportation was a skateboard. I identified with and lived in the punk/metal community. I was one of the few who wasn't getting high every day, and I have no idea why to this day. I finally realized one day that my life had a lot more potential than partying and sleeping in each afternoon. I chose the military life (part-time in the Air National Guard) initially to give me a swift kick in the rear. After that, I realized that I could follow my childhood dream of being a pilot. I graduated, the applied. Surpirsingly, I was selected, and I haven't looked back since.

My point is that I'm the first officer in my family. I'm also the first pilot. My existence since childhood has always been one of free choices and little money. I've been homeless, swore I'd never fight Uncle Sam's war, and been on welfare. I've held friends who had overdosed while they empty thir stomachs on the sidewalk. I've been at the bottom of the food chain, and I've worked my way back up.

I've also caught myself grinning ear to ear as I punch through the clouds close on the wing of a good friend and flight lead. I've been wrestled to the ground by my fellow classmates and thrown in the "solo tank" after my first solo flight in pilot training. I've stood proudly as my mother and father pinned the wings on my chest after a year of heaven and hell in Columbus, Mississippi. And I've flown through artillery airbursts over Mosul in northern Iraq, and felt my heart pounding in my chest so hard it seemed like it would come tearing through my flight suit, jacket, survival vest, and harness. I've been awoke in the middle of the night by a friend with the news that a fellow pilot rolled in on a night bombing pass and never pulled out (this, coincidentally, was April 22, 1998. Maybe that's why I'm being a little sentimental this evening.) But, still, I am a very, very lucky guy. I am doing what I have wanted to do my whole life. Sure, it's not all fun and games, but I can't think of many jobs that are.

I don't expect you to understand where I come from sometimes. Many times, that's why I try to put it in layman's terms. But, I encourage you to pick up a copy of the FARs and the Airmen's Information Manual. This is the civilian pilot's bible, and us military folks are bound by the same. You'll find a lot of my statements come directly from these, and you'll learn why there are X's in the sky and other neat things. I don't have to be an agent to refer to these.

Well, best of luck to you in your fledgling musical career. I'm an artist, but I've never been able to grasp music like I have a good tube of cobalt blue, a nice canvas, and a set of hosehairs. But, I still love music, even though the message isn't always agreeable.

Back to the great debate.

Chem11-

You know, I actually expected to see some type of protocol on how to deal with a UFO encounter as a military pilot. But, to this day, I have yet to find some guidance that deals with it. I think that instead there is someone on each base that is charged with the responsibility to debrief the pilot and handle the media. But, like the UFO issue as a whole, there is no official admission that there is someone on each base fulfilling this function.

To be honest, I would have had no idea how to handle the things on my radar screen should they have decided to get close to me. We don't fly very often with live ordinance, and I don't think that I was on the days that I had my experiences.

The pilot that I refer to that had an encounter was never told outright to keep quiet, but he did keep it largely to himself after being heckled by his buddies. And I did try the beer thing with him (many times) to no avail. One day, I'll run into him somewhere and I'll try again to get some info out of him.

Well, I don't see any practical advice or protocol in this section of the manual, but somebody sure as hell took this seriously at the Air Force Academy.

Here's a link to a relevant section in the cadet's manual...

I just want to point out that the former head of U.S. Customs, von Raab resigned from Customs in the '80's as a protest for frequent intervention by the U.S. State Department in major drug busts made by Customs. LE agencies like intel groups in the U.S. sometimes find themselves working at cross-purposes. Some are cases where one hand doesn't know what the other is doing, like in cases of 'friendly fire'. But this was a case where one hand knows what the other is doing and then realizes there may really be a subtle, though unofficial change in policy.

Customs used to have the reputation as being one of the cleanest in the U.S. law enforcment community, as opposed to DEA, FBI. Maybe von Raab found that changed too in favor of a secret policy that allows and even assists in narco-trafficking into the U.S..

TG, For some reason, it has been said there is UFO handling info. in the Military Fire-fighters Manual, specific to the Air-force. I gotta "dig" through my 12,000 pages of downlowded info. but when I find it....I can let any know...whoever wants that. Blessings, Joanne

I know it's in bad taste to bump my own goods, but for those that missed the song the first time, Thermit has it on this thread.

I have written 2 new songs, but they lack lyrics. I was hoping some folks would help out but as silence = no thank you, I'll have to bungle them myself.

Can anyone help out with song titles? I am open to whatever nonsense you can toss my way, as I am a bear of little brain.

I'd help you, nsa, but my talents lie elsewhere. Is your neck starting to heal? Maybe if you take some more dives off your garage onto the gravel driveway you won't notice the pain. (You, too, may laugh now.)

I could give it a shot, NSA. But you really need to hear the music before you write the lyrics. Sometimes you do get lucky, though, and things just click.

I was in the Biz for about four years down in LA. Close, but no cigar. I'll give it a shot.

Had a couple ideas... you could try doing a tongue-in-cheek network weather forecast somewhere in there...you know, today's forecast calls for heavy spraying in LA and Orange counties. Children and senior citizens are advised to stay indoors. Well, the chemtrails may make you seriously ill, but they sure do make for some interesting skies, right Tom?

They sure do Deborah! Now, here's Jay with the sports! Etc, etc.

Chem: Love the way your mind works...all sick and such like. That's a good idea, put in some reverb, flange and a 20 degree wide dispersed stereo on it with a driving bass beat. Some channel 4 into to lead in the voice-overs, and let's see...that would actually make a great intro - as opposed to a bridge middle or tag outro.

Write it up. I'll do it - get a few mates to do the voices, cuz I BE SINGING.

This won't be a rant piece retro hell, these two are going to Modern works, with some good music behind it. The first of the two starts off with some very cool fingerpicking on a 35 year old Martin DM18.

3T3: I'm glad. Yes I am a laughing away. But, as an aside, you know it's interesting that you chose that phrase, because that was a control feature they used on us - and I hear they teach it to women law enforcement - to keep us down. We were often held down with a foot on our necks. That's why I alluded to it so often in my deranged CT prayer, which was also a metaphor for what happened to truth over the Carni's this last week. Anyways, I know you meant well and its all cool.

K. But I want songwriting credits on this! Just in case we make our first million. I'm a bit of a perfectionist, so hang tight. This could take a little bit.

I noticed a message feature here somewhere when I first registered. Damned if I can find it now...

3T3L1, is it possible to access this feature for collaboritive purposes? In other words, can a poster send another poster messages?

If so, where is this application located?

p.s. Thanks for coming back, NSA. Scientific detatchment is all well-and-good, but you've got guts.

And guts is enough.

Yeah...co-writing credits are a natch! Thanks for the "guts" comment...often, that's all I feel I have left inside. Ya know, you mentioned dreams on another thread and I couldn't do it...every time...the images...that blended with reality of a past I can't escape...

...like last night

(i guess this is off topic, so I'll take it over to dreams.)

On the lyrics - take your time. Let's do it right. It might help if you heard a "scratch track of the main guitar part to get in you into the right feel/moment/headspace. Would that help you or would you rather fly it blind. I have the vocal melody worked out, but with no lyrics - people say it sounds cool.

Songs are written and I believe are the lyrics. Still need titles. And I've already rought out CT songs 3, 4, 5.

they still need lyrics. C'mon...it's not that hard...it's only rock and roll.

I am going to use Pro Tools to mix it down and all that blather, but that software is as complex as scalar physics...anyone have experience with PTools?
