Submitted for your consideration, the sad story of one Dr. Paul Bennewitz- victim of perhaps one of the most well-documented military disinformation campaigns enacted.Literally all of the current horror stories categorizing the greys as malevont, flesh-eating, soul-sucking demonic entities can be traced to this campaign. Although the sources of this information and the true purposes behind it have long since been revealed, these stories still remain popular amongst a signifigant number of people. The CI camapign was wildly successful in it's original purpose as well; Bennewitz suffered a complete mental breakdown and was subsequently hospitilized. http://www.ufomind.com/ufo/updates/1997/apr/m07-019.shtml

I don't know whether the grays are good or evil.....or whether they even exist, but I'll tell you one thing; if one of those little bug-eyed bastards walks through my walls in the dead of night, puts a freeze ray on me, drags me into his craft against my will, places strange implants up my nose and extract precious bodily fluids in the most humiliating manner....well... It ain't good!

Not the main thrust of my arguement, CQ. We'll save that one for later..I'm more interested in driving home the reality of disinformation and it's real world effect on it's target. The word seems to get tossed around alot and I thought it might be worth it to take a look at a documented case. Read the entire article and I think you'll see what I mean...

Sorry Chem. Admittedly I didn't read the article before I commented. I think I see where you're going though: Government abductions blamed on grays. Right up NSA's alley.
