Hi all I am really a "newbie" here...but truly excited to find an area of open-minded individuals. I have been trying and trying to find a "chat" area where we can discuss this issue at-length. It would be nice to have a real-time conversation with any of you. I have started to discuss the issue of chemtrails with others who I speak with...even my extended and immediate family are starting to become acutely awaire of those ominous lines in the sky. Can anyone come up with an idea of how to and/or where to create a chat room? I am more than a bit surprised that this site doesn't have one. P.S.---I live in central California and over the last few days I have noticed LONG chemtrail lines over most of our coastal cities and especially over a popular lake that we visited. Take care all....Thanks for your imput

ABC123 could you give the name of the lake that you visited? Thanks.

Actually, there is a chat room over at the Seattle Chemtrail Alliance forum... It would be kinda neat to get everybody together for a free-for-all...(Insert shameless self-promotion below) http://network54.com/Hide/Forum/125334

Perhaps Thermit could start one??Huh Thermit? I would imagine it takes a bit of work so it may be too much to get into, but it would be interesting...But the boards. I don't know, ya gotta love 'em.

I'll check in to a chat room and give it some serious consideration. In the meantime, I would suggest trying Chem11's chat room.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, Thermit. You know, I just checked the stats for the first time... over 800 page views in the less than three days the forum has been up.This is, as yet, just a tiny, completely unpromoted local forum. It doesn't make any kind of sense to be generating these kind of numbers. BTW, you don't have to register to chat. You can log in as a 'guest'. Feel free anytime, guys (and gals). Might be a good place for Fight Club on sunday nights, as opposed to cluttering up Thermits board...

Chem 11... I visited your site just a minute ago and tried to access the chat room feature. For some reason it wouldn't come up completely for me. It kept clicking back and forth on the lower bar of the screen. Looked like it was trying to bring up the rest of the necessary features for chatting but it was like it was spinning it's wheels. Thought you would want to know about that.I thought the picture on the top was interesting... what exactly is that piece of equipment anyway? I agree that a chat room here would be great Thermit. Course we should all be prepared for some fighting to break out.

This image was created by Junior, one of the forum members at the PPRUNE board. I guess it was made as a joke, but it looks cool...

You may need to have cookies enabled to access the chat, Catnip. I had a similar problem logging in with cookies disabled.Let me know if you encounter further problems... That image has been sitting on my hard drive for what seems like forever, and while I have always assumed it to be a product of Photoshop, I've never heard the story behind it's origin. It is very authentic looking... hope it's not copyrighted! You sure do get around the scene, Thermit. Thanks for the background...

Chem... I tried again to sign onto the chat at your board but it's still not working for me. I'm pretty sure my computer accepts cookies...since I usually try and delete the little buggers every now and then. I'm wondering if I'll need to login altogether in order to chat since it doesn't seem to work for me on just a guest basis.

Hmm. Judging by it's stats, people are using the chat room... so I don't think it's a software problem, per se.Hopefully you are using an updated version of IE, not netscape or some crappy AOL browser. You should be able to chat without registering... Try this (assuming you have IE5 or higher): 1) Click tools in your browser 2) Click internet options 3) Click the security tab (for internet) 4) Click default level This should work.

Chem... I've checked out the Tools... and I can't seem to access the default level, only the custom level. I'm also using Internet Explorer... not sure but I think it's IE5.

Well, since you made it, I'm assuming you had to register. Some people are reporting this problem, some aren't. I'm probably going to require registration now anyway, since the potential for impersonation has reared it's head. Yes, somebody thought it would be a good idea to enter the room as Chem11.5Kinda freaked a few people out. The good news is registration is instantaneous and you don't have to provide an e-mail addy. Pick a screename, pick a password and you're in. Anyway, thanks to everyone that popped in. It really is kind of a nifty feauture, but it is may also be something of a post killer. Prediction: In the coming weeks the participants of this forum are goin to beg, plead and perhaps even threaten Thermit in their quest for a chatroom on this site. Ignore their pitiful cries, noble SYSOP! Only trouble can come of this, I see that now...

Gosh Chem... you sound like you're a bit sorry for having created a chat room now. I take it you've already had some unpleasant conversations there. Probably couldn't be helped you know. There is always the option of discontinuing your chat feature if things get too hair raising.I think people are going to continue to post replies either way though since comments that are posted will be responded to by more people than what's possible in a fleeting conversation... the chat just offers a chance to get to know people a bit better. I think it's a cool idea... but then that's just my opinion.

Actually, I was being facetious Catnip! Just kidding, in other words...Everyone was really very positive and it is a really great way to get to know people better than you would from their posts alone. Don't worry, the room isn't going anywhere.

...I have added your chat room site as a "bookmarked" area on my computer; however, every time that I try to go there there is no one talking...not even a soul in the room. I have to use the name "ModelCitizen"...Can you let me know if there are certain times of the day that are "active" for chat? Thanks!

I'm considering doing a hosted chat session at certain times during the week, ABC, but right now I'm having problems with my ISP so I'm going to have to hold off for a bit. My connection got hosed while I was in the room with a member, so I'm going to take a second to apologize to Modelcitizen for the abrupt ending to our conversation. Anyway, evenings seem to be an active time... I've noticed that if you enter the chatrooom and hang out for a while, someone will inevetably log-in. I usually condense the window and let it run while I'm doing other tasks on the net...
