Berkland, is still someone I consider a friend, though I disagree, stridently with his belief in chemtrails. The rose, depicted is very beautiful. The compass rose, is the symbol of female pilots who belong to the 99's. Just another thing that reminds me of another beautiful entity, that does good for many people around the world. I, as Anne, who posts, occasionally on the Syzygy Boards, appreciates the topic of earthquakes, and the various ways, they could be predicted. Mr. Berkland graciously accepted fossil samples I had found, and helped add to foundational knowledge, geologically, about the plate shifting in the East Bay Area. This was twenty+ years ago, though, I still pay interest in earth science. I am yet awaiting foundational proof of chemtrails, because I only see atmospheric conditions that make the persistant clouds occur. My doubt just comes from flying and observing weather conditions. Let's see if enough people fork over the 30 grand, they say is needed to make the proving ability, get off the ground, and forever put this issue to rest. I appeal to all to put their money where their mouth is, and bring comfort to their souls and minds, about who is right, and who is wrong. Or, just independantly, find a way to find out any illness causing agents, that could be proven to be fallout from all the perceived contrails, with date, time, source, and detailed track of handling, verified by a reputable laboratory, and analyzed. This curiosity comes from not just me. My husband and other sky travelers, beg the question. Why shouldn't we? If there is not another motive, for maintaining a fear of contrails, the ability to concretely prove their harm, beyond occasional clouds, here and there, ...,inflaming the fears of global warming seems to be new idea, creeping into the story, of their existance. I saw that coming long ago. Thanks for the pic of that earthquake rose! I am currently experimenting with some sand paintings of my own, using the elements of Franciscan stone colors.

I'm curious Goldrush,to what atmospheric condition you refer to specifically? And why it suddenly appeared in 1998? And why it only seems to affect military aircraft? Granted, the third question is loaded, but these vague musings that occasionally seep out of the debunker camp regarding some new "atmospheric condition" are never followed up on. And I'm genuinely interested in hearing even some sort of theory regarding this (and I hope you are doing well). Any thoughts?

Oh, Chem11, what I refer to as NEW, are mainly the views filtered through the interpretations of Mr. Will T., carnicopia, and Rense-ilicious. Contrails have been in existance as long as I have seen them, decades+. The only thing "new" is the slant that contrails are perceived by a few, to be harmful. If one sees a contrail and becomes sick, three hours later, is not even tangentally possible, due to the distance and variable wind velocities. The earth does not stand still, while any type of particulate proposedly coming from an aircraft engine, floats down to a target, one perceives themself to be. Too high, and too harmless, for exhaust made crystals to intentionally, bombard any land area, with exhaust gasses, that could hurt anyone. If moisture added to the sky above you, makes it hard to discern, a cloud, made from exhaust gas, and one from natural air mass movements over the earth, I can then understand your dilemma. Since I moved to N.Cal. in 77', the allergy, fever, sinus thing, took a lot of finding out what and how I could live among different allergans, weather patterns, and people who constantly sniffle... But accusing any pilot group for intentionally messing with me, never came to mind. Add a third generation of females to have adult onset leukemia, and you have me....fighting for my durability, and offering small insight, at this time. The SKY environment which I hold precious, is under attack, by people who, on one hand, enjoy the speed and convenience of air travel, but yet, identify the exhaust gas and water vapor, as if their own does not stink, but the exhaust and water vapor of transitting civilian and military craft as noxious. The human factor of added particulate into the atmosphere, is said to be 5 percent, for the whole world. Should technologically advanced nations as U.S., restrict our own air transportation system, to allow aviation in less developed countries to produce more "contrails", in their part of the world, and base the whole system upon World Tax credits or levies? This where, understanding the Kyoto Treaty, and the IPPC reports, become important to the sudden fingering of contrails, as only one aspect, but a very visible one.

goldrush, I'm disappointed. Didn't you read my research?
Civilian craft are not relevant. Civilian craft are not responsible for the ultra persistent trails. Even the honorable Mr. Kunz is willing to acknowledge the correlation of military planes to the highly persistent trails given my research findings. In fact, I believe it was a "sigma 5" correlation... highly significant.
